Marnier did his best Vinnie Chase impression, and ALL  he got was a fake phone number from said designer, Olcay Gulsen. A source tells Page Six, “She gave him the wrong number to play hard to get.”

This reminds me of the time my brother’s friend’s hot brother — a high-school quarterback and Superman doppelganger who could basically get any girl he wanted — saw his world flip upside down freshman year in college when a girl rejected him so she could focus on her med school studies, not his sculpted cheekbones.

Her indifference made him  pursue her more aggressively because he wanted to know WHY.

Somewhere, I imagine Marnier is trying to track down this Olcay person. There MUST be an explanation for this, he is asking himself.

Many of the movie’s stars showed up with their spouses, like “McDreamy” Patrick Dempsey and his beautiful wife of ten years Jillian.

The movie boasts a gigantic cast of well-known names, including: Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace, Jamie Foxx, Ashton Kutcher, Eric Dane, Queen Latifah, Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner, and Kathy Bates. Whew!

“Valentine’s Day” is about intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles who break-up and make-up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentine’s Day.

Emily was nominated for her title role in the movie The Young Victoria, about Queen Victoria of England, and was up against Sandra Bullock (who tied with Streep for the win) for The Blind Side, Carey Mulligan for An Education, Saoirse Ronan for The Lovely Bones, Gabourey Sidibe for Precious, and Meryl Streep for Julie & Julia.

Emily and John have been dating since November 2008, and after quietly dating for nearly a year, announced their engagement in August 2009. The cute couple haven’t set a date yet.

John talked to Access Hollywood in September about the proposal, saying:

“It was very casual,” John said. “I was nervous and the whole nine yards. She did cry after I cried and we cried and then everyone around us was crying.Then, I think people weren’t really sure what was going on, but they were crying because we were crying. But it was great. At the end of the day she said yes which is great. It’s a big part of this whole thing.”

Kate is supposedly in talks for another reality show, this time involving a more romantic direction as the mom of twins and sextuplets begins dating again.

The family’s previous show, Jon & Kate Plus Eight, ran on TLC for two years and followed pretty much every move the family made. After the couple separated plans were underway to rename and rebrand the show to “Kate Plus Eight” and focus on Kate raising her kids as a single mom, but that was put to an end when Jon issued a cease and desist to TLC and barred production crew from entering the property.

It’ll be interesting to see if this one gets off the ground.

The couple, along with their children which include a set of twins and a set of sextuplets, became famous for their TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus Eight. They’ve come under a lot of fire over the last year or so from family and fans for exploiting the children for money.

On Wednesday an arbitrator ruled how the parents would divide real estate and other assets, and Kate’s attorney confirmed that Kate “will continue to reside with all eight of her children in the former marital home” in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. A judge signed the official divorce papers today.

About the divorce, Kate says: “I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children. On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case. This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.”

Looks like Jon can officially start dating again — oh, wait!

The couple, who have eight kids — a set of twins and sextuplets — have enjoyed several years of reality TV stardom on TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus Eight,” with cameras practically following them and their kids’ every move.

However, they announced at the beginning of this past summer that they’ve been having marital trouble for a while and intend to divorce. Jon took this as a chance to be seen with a rotating bevy of girlfriends, including the daughter of family friends, 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, a relationship he’s currently “taking a break from.”

During his very public apology session at a synagogue in Manhattan, New York with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, Jon says he regrets the last eight months of public relationships, and that he’s got a few years to prepare before he thinks he’ll have to explain himself to his kids. He also said someday he’ll like to apologize to Kate: “First, to Kate: I want to apologize to Kate … so, when that time comes, I will apologize to her. And I’ll apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye. And that was a huge mistake.”

The couple were first spotted together when they locked lips at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party hosted by Lady GaGa in September, and Russell supposedly sent Katy a love poem he typed out himself via text, and Katy responded by sending a topless photo of herself. Who knows how true that is, but the two looks to have some chemistry!

The change is said to have come from waning viewership, which dropped nearly 80% from the beginning of the current season (I like to think of it as a silent protest of former fans of the show). The new spin will focus more on Kate as a single mother, with Jon just making occasional appearances.

The couple, who share custody of the eight kids, decided early on in their separation that while they would each get a different place to live, the kids would remain in the million-dollar house in Pennsylvania with one parent living with them dependent upon scheduling.

They announced their split on TV this past June, though Jon was snapped with a rotation of college girls out at bars earlier than that, and then made his relationship with Hailey Glassman public soon after. Kate was rumored to have been dating her bodyguard, though those rumors seemed to have fizzled out not long after they started.

Kate Plus Eight will premiere on TLC on November 2.
