Lohan is hosting the F1 Rocks Sinagpore with LG music event which includes three nights of concerts featuring Beyoncé, ZZ Top and No Doubt as well as international artists such as Chinese pop legend Jacky Cheung and Taiwanese pop diva A-MEI, among others.

“I think it’s really nice to be part of something that it’s the first year they are doing it – which is F1 Rocks,” Lindsay said during the interview. “”It’s a bunch of amazing performers whom I’m a really big fan of….”

Lohan said studying NASCAR for a year while preparing for the 2005 movie Herbie: Fully Loaded has made her a racing fan.

“I studied NASCAR for a while, almost a year when I was doing Herbie the love bug, so I had to learn all of the details. It was very hot inside those cars, but it was a lot of fun,” Lindsay said.

Lindsay also discussed Machete, the movie she just finished filming in Austin a few days ago.

“It was a really great experience. It’s a really great cast. I’ve never gotten to shoot a gun in a film or ever in personal life. I was really scared but it was really exhilarating — but not in the best way. It was scary but it was nice to do something new in a film.”

About life, Lindsay explained her philosophy:

“I think you should live life to fullest and you learn from your mistakes and I think it’s really important to experience life in every different way and anyone can alter anything,” Lindsay said.

According to the Huffington Post, Lindsay also had a response to questions about the suspect who is accused of breaking into her home last month.

“I don’t really want to get into the details of that,” Lohan said. “That’s for the detectives to do.”

Lindsay stepped in the hosting role after Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger pulled out a few days ago.

Organizers are saying Lindsay Lohan will be the host of F1 Rocks™ Singapore With LG, according to Today Online. The big music event is set Thursday through Saturday — and Lindsay is reportedly headed that way!

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was originally set to host the show, but pulled out last week, the report said.

According to Morrison, other considerations for the position included Katy Perry, Victoria Beckham and “a number of the Spices,” before they finally landed Lindsay.

At the moment, most of the news about Lindsay hosting the event is coming from Singapore sources.

“We got a call… saying Lindsay Lohan was really keen to come to Singapore,” said Paul Morrison, CEO of All The Worlds, which is putting the event together. “She’s on the plane even as we speak. And she’s dead up for it! She can’t wait!”

And Lindsay may have another reason for going: Samantha Ronson also will be in town to spin at the Fuel Festival at Novus.

“…We’re pretty excited because we’ve got a whole new dimension to the show. We’ve got a pretty famous movie star, who’s going to be coming in with a global reach, because that girl doesn’t do anything without the paparazzi knowing,” Morrison told Today Online.
