Well, Fashion Week was fun you guys! We got to talk to Jay-Z, Kelly Rowland, Vampire Weekend, and Wendy Williams. But we ignored John Mayer, just like everyone else. Whoo! Read this week’s very special edition of Best of Crushable, and enjoy life. More »
Front row of G-Star Raw’s fashion show last night was a “Who’s Who” of awesome celebrities. Right down the line there was America’s Next Top Model’s Jay Manuel and J. Alexander, Liv Tyler, Kelly Osbourne, Kelly Rowland, Joe Manganiello from True Blood and his date, along with model/actor Eric Balfour and….who are those two nudging themselves and giggling in the corner? Why, pansexual thespian Alan Cumming and criminally under-utilized 30 Rock cast member Cheyenne Jackson. More »
I attended Adoptapalooza’s pet fashion show last weekend, an event held during Fashion Week to encourage folks to take home rescued animals. I arrived early and had to time to check out the scene before the show started (and to pet a few doggies). Pups were wandering around wearing little vests saying “Adopt Me” and a truck bearing 50 caged kittens meowing in unison broke my heart. More »
This year I was fortunate enough to be asked to help out dressing models at Doo-Ri Chung’s Spring 2011 show in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2010. The show was not held at Bryant Park, but instead the venue was a trendy art gallery in Chelsea called Eyebeam Gallery. I had done the dressing for the same show a year before so I wasn’t as nervous as I was this time last year. When I got there, everyone was fussing over hair and makeup. Only two of the models had arrived on time, so we dressers were herded into a corner until they had something for us to do. More »
Is it just us, or are the celebrity gimmicks used for Fashion’s Night Out getting more and more ridiculous? Halle Berry‘s ex Gabriel Aubry playing ping-pong at Bloomingdales? What does that even have to do with…well…anything?

Are you ready for Fashion Week? These bloggers are, and they can tell you what they do to gear up for fashion’s biggest time of year, including The Gloss‘s own Jennifer Wright. (via BettyConfidential)
Cashing in on the 3D home entertainment trend that The New York Times has promised us will arrive in the near future (at least before we get our damn hoverboards), organizers for Fashion Week in Paris have decided to broadcast their runway shows in 3 dimensions.
That means that if you have those very fashion-forward glasses, you can stream broadcasts of Valentino, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christophe Josse, and others on anything from your laptop to your TV to your cellphone, thanks to… More »
All the models at Patrick Mohr’s runway fashion show in Berlin yesterday sported what appear to be glue-on beards. We’re all for the avant garde, but, uhhh? More »

Remember the past several Fashion Weeks in New York, where the theme for most of the shows seemed to be “gray” “functional” and “no free cocktails at the after-party?” Well hopefully we can wipe our hands of all that, because from the looks of the menswear being presented in Milan right now by designers like Jill Sander, Enrico Coveri, and Ermanno Scervino this summer is going to be nothing but blue skies, pastels, and neon print speedos. Hooray!

AnnaLynne McCord is on the cover of the upcoming issue of Shape magazine, and she’s looking hot in a bright pink bikini. But we couldn’t help but notice that it looks like the Shape editors have done a bit of airbrushing, which we think is probably completely unnecessary for the 90210 babe.
The result is that the cover pic looks as though AnnaLynne’s head has been attached to someone else’s body. And the weird heavenly glow behind her only adds to… More »
Think that the model who tripped at the Marc by Marc Jacobs show had a hard time? That was nothing. Check out our favorite model wipeouts from years past:
Carmen Electra, 2007, Max Factor: The domino effect is the best part. And the wild applause seems to indicate that one of the best things about fashion shows is the possibility that you’ll get to watch people fall down, because that never gets old.
Naomi Campbell, 1993, Vivienne Westwood

In addition to the arrival and red carpet photos, we have some pictures of Hilary Duff inside the Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2010 Collection show as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. Hilary was at the show with her friend Amanda.
If you hadn’t already guessed, the dress Hilary is wearing was also designed by Max Azria as part of the Hervé Léger line. It’s from the 2009 Spring line, the Black Linear Applique Minidress, which… More »
Hilary Duff showed her continued support for Max Azria yesterday by attending the Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2010 Collection show as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
If you recall, Hilary Duff hosted a Hervé Léger party earlier this year, so likely has a great relationship with the fashion house.
Hilary opted to go very slick for this event, with her hair back in a tight bun. What do you think of the look for her?… More »
Hilary Duff at Fashion Week – Videos & New Pics
Although I know we’ve all been hoping that Hilary Duff would have attended daily shows for the Spring 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, so far we’ve only seen Hilary Duff and friend Amanda Bynes at the Hervé Léger show on September 13, 2009 and the QVC Style Live celebration. I have some new video clips and photos of her appearance at Bryant Park:
Hilary talks with E! about being a huge fan of Hervé Léger, saying the dresses… More »
