Gallery: ‘Gossip Girl’ Set Photos Have Blake And Penn, But Not Together

When the photo agencies capture any of the elusive cast of Gossip Girl in their natural habitat of filming, the actors always look startled or surly. So despite the recent breakup of cast members Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, we shouldn’t assume the two have any bad blood between them just because they are glaring at the camera. The fact that they’re not glaring together should be a good tip-off though: Penn is chilling with GG‘s other female lead, Leighton Meester, while Blake is left all alone to walk in and out of coffeeshops. Sure it may have just been the scene they were shooting, or it may be representitive of real life tensions on the set. At this point, is there a difference?

It’s everyone’s favorite time of summer in New York City: Gossip Girl filming is back underway. The season started its filming in Paris–where Blair, Chuck and Serena will spend the summer (spoiler: yes, Chuck does live through that gunshot wound in Prague and he looks as good as ever). Starting this week, the cast and crew resumed their shooting on this side of the pond with Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr and Penn Badgley on set in Long Island City, Joining the gang is French actress Clemence Poesy (a.k.a. Fleur Delacour of Harry Potter) who will play Chuck’s new love interest. The two were spotted filming romantic scenes together in Paris, and now she’s on the New York set as well.

Lindsay Lohan in Austin

Lindsay Lohan is currently in Austin, Texas to resume filming her cameo in Robert Rodriguez’s film, Machete. Lindsay Lohan has the role of April, a “socialite with a penchant for guns.”

Though there are not photos or videos yet from the set, we have some on-hand tweets about Lindsay’s role:

@coltonjameskidd: Holy crap! I was an extra on the set of machete and ran behind Lindsay lohan while she was shooting some bad guys!

And, of course, Lindsay being in another state can completely debunk this stupid rumor. Ah, fact checking. What a sadly-underused skill!

Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty Set

Lindsay Lohan was back on the set of “Ugly Betty” on September 4th. She was all smiles, enjoying the experience of filming the show. She walked around the set at one point wearing curlers in her hair, at another point smoking a cigarette and eating some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Dina Lohan also visited the set.

As you can see from the photo, it looks like Betty (America Ferrera) and Kimberly (Lindsay Lohan) have become friends again! I guess that food fight did them some good?!
