Manatee Week Update: Florida Strikes One For the Manatees!
Yeah, we all know you like to fly really fast on your boat and hear it make that vroom-vroom sound (who doesn’t??!), but this Manatee Week, boaters may be forced to slow down to protect their marine mammal friends. A court in Broward County heard both sides of the story, which basically can be summed up in “Boaters want to go fast” and “Fast boats are killing off one of the most endangered species in the world.”
