Gallery: The 10 Douchiest Photos Of Guy Fieri

Guy Fieri
is the worst! I’ve always thought Food Network “chef” Guy Fieri was the worst, in an abstract man I wish that guy would shut his mouth and put on a regular-person shirt way, but now I know very concretely that he is the actual worst. I know that he is the worst because reports have surfaced that Guy Fieri hates gay people. Here is a thing he said, once: “You can’t send me to talk to gay people without warning! Those people weird me out.”

See? The worst. The bright side is that I finally have a reason to post all of these absurdly douchey photos of Guy I’ve been collecting on my computer. More »

Feminism, Free Love, and Tang: What If Every Network Got Its Own ’60s Show?

Feminism, Free Love, and Tang: What If Every Network Got Its Own '60s Show?

It only took four wildly popular season of Mad Men (and a Mad Men-inspired cookbook) to get other networks to realize audiences are ready for some quality retro programming. Enter NBC’s The Playboy Club and ABC’s Pan Am, both set in the 1960s. But why should three networks have all the fun? If every station could roll out a ’60s-themed show this fall, here’s what they would be. More »

Video: Guy Fieri and Professor Snape Brew a Mean Polyjuice Potion

It’s too bad that Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dementors can’t be a real thing, because this guy is killing it with his Guy Fieri impression. Really, it’s fitting that Guy and guest chef Severus Snape are whipping up some polyjuice potion, because these two imitations are both fantastic. You’ve got Guy rattling off his usual rhymes (“This is a funky, chunky, monkey, stunky, stinky brew”) and cooing over the “shredded boomslang skin” — and whoever plays Snape has Alan Rickman‘s sneering drawl down so perfectly that he should’ve stepped in for the Snape flashbacks in Deathly Hallows, Part 2. Whose Italian Accent Is Worse, Guy Fieri’s or Giada De Laurentiis’?

Whose Italian Accent Is Worse, Guy Fieri's or Giada De Laurentiis'?

Food Network Humor points out that Guy Fieri has a bit of trouble when it comes to pronouncing his own surname. Although we’ve heard him introduced as “Fierrri”, he’s been caught saying it “Fietti” — even though he was born Guy Ferry. And don’t get us started on Giada De Laurentiis‘ habit of giving every ingredient in her arsenal the full Italian treatment. Videos (and poll) inside! More »

Does Paula Deen Have Diabetes From Eating All That Deep Fried Food?

According to the National Enquirer, Food Network star Paula Deen has developed diabetes from her steady diet of things containing butter, sugar, and lard. The article claims that Paula has known about the diabetes for several years but has kept it to herself rather than “disappoint her fans” or give up the multimillion-dollar empire she founded on the back of some caramelized bacon. Gallery: Disgusting Recipes From Sandra Lee

After last night’s election, New Yorkers woke up to a new governor in Andrew Cuomo. But when you buy one Andrew Cuomo, you get one Sandra Lee free! Sandra is best known as a Food Network star who specializes in “Semi-Homemade” cooking. What does that mean exactly?

In theory, it means she makes easy, cheep food for busy people. But in actuality, it involves a lot of canned food items and bad flavor combinations. We’ve compiled some of the scariest recipes Sandra has unleashed on the Food Network (though there are many more). Hopefully she won’t be cooking for anyone in Albany! More »

Dude Diary: Food Network Chef Tyler Florence Gets Excited About Food Trucks

There’s no doubt that the food truck phenomenon is sweeping the nation. Better hit the gym while you can: desserts are trending and trending hard. Paula Deen on ‘Idol’? What the Hay-ull?

Paula Deen on 'Idol'? What the Hay-ull?

There are certain things that are absolutely true: there will always be death and taxes, tabloid magazines will always speculate about the possible contents of Jennifer Aniston’s womb, and American Idol is not a singing competition.

If there was any doubt about the last statement, this year — Idol’s ninth season — has effectively silenced it. Now that original judge Paula Abdul has packed up her crazy and headed home and co-creator Simon Cowell will be following her at the end… More »
