Mogwai Coming to NYC
Space/prog/atmospheric rockers Mogwai are going on tour to celebrate the release of their new album The Hawk is Howling, which comes out September 22. ATP Coming to NY
All Tomorrow’s Parties, which has curated amazing festivals for the past eight years, is finally bringing a lineup to New York–and it’s amazing. It’s curated by My Bloody Valentine (who have just announced a full-blown tour) and ATP and takes place Sept. 19-21. The weird thing is that it’s upstate in the Catskills at Kutscher’s Country Club–an old Catskills standby from the bygone days. Here’s the lineup:

Caribou and F*ck Buttons Played Williamsburg Last Night
When I walked into the Music Hall of Williamsburg last night there was a very loud droning sound coming from the stage. So loud I could not hear myself think. It was the F*ck Buttons.
