Video: Courtney Stodden Makes Her ‘Funny Or Die’ Debut On Jason Alexander’s Fake Talk Show

You knew this was coming. As part of her ongoing quest to stay famous for 1.) being a sexually active teen, and 2.) dressing like a video vixen from the 80s, Courtney Stodden has appeared in a video for comedy site Funny Or Die. It also features the gravely missed Jason Alexander, so I’m sorry to report that the sketch is more “die” than “funny.” Can you guess what its premise is?

That’s right, it’s her boobs. It is always her boobs. In the clip, Courtney and her creeptastic husband appear on the talk show of one “Donny Clay” (a Dr. Phil competitor played by Alexander), presumably to work through some issues with him. And by “work through some issues with,” I mean “get felt up by.”

While the video could certainly have had a better premise (how many times will I have to say that “hot girl is hot” is not a joke?) I’m struck by just how little comedic talent Courtney has. She’s never quite sure where to look, and she sucks the air right out of the room. This is surprising, considering the fact that she seems to be at least somewhat in on the joke that is her existence. Maybe she’d be better in a tragic role? In any case, she should keep on taking those acting classes.

Here’s a holiday treat from Funny Or Die: Not only do we get a new Drunk History, but it’s Christmas-themed and stars Ryan Gosling! Ryan and new girlfriend Eva Mendes dress up to recreate the famous poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas”… except told by a drunk guy in a Santa hat who keeps losing his place.

Poor Allan McLeod doesn’t seem to understand how the Drunk History videos go; he keeps apologizing for forgetting lines or repeating himself, when that’s exactly what makes the reenactments so funny. How else would we have the genius of “Aaron Burr says, ‘Hey you’re giving me shit, we gotta duel’”?

Ryan is just adorable as the hapless father who awakens — in his sleeping cap — and encounters Santa in the living room. I feel like a lost of the Drunk History storytellers like to include fights, so I’m surprised that Allan didn’t try to get Ryan to face off against Santa.

And yes, that’s Jim Carrey as jolly, jelly Old St. Nick, a welcome change from his creepy performance as the Grinch however many years ago.

Canadian band Nickelback is speaking out against the people who created a petition to keep them from performing during the Detroit Lions‘ Thanksgiving game… in a really smart way, no less. Instead of starting a Twitter war or their own petition, they’ve joined up with Funny Or Die to play themselves in a video about making themselves more likable to Americans.

“They called us up,” frontman Chad Kroeger told MTV News. “They said, ‘This whole debacle that’s going on in Detroit it just lunacy. We here in the comedy field think it’s just perfect for making fun of, and if you guys would like to come down here…” Being huge Will Ferrell fans, they couldn’t say no.

To be honest, I didn’t recognize Chad at first; I was sure that these were a bunch of lookalikes, especially when the record executive is played by comedian Paul Scheer. But no, the guys are willing to spoof themselves, even going so far as to refer to some joke about fucking goats(?).

Careful, Nickelback—you don’t need to give yourselves bad press, or in these days, bad search keywords.

Herman Cainâs Campaign Promises with Mike Tyson from Mike Tyson

Former boxer Mike Tyson is amazing as presidential hopeful Herman Cain in a parody video that’s just been posted on Funny Or Die. Perhaps drawing from personal experience, Tyson channels Cain’s (double reference alert!) Bachmann-esque crazy eyes like no one else could as he touches on Cain’s plans to wear a giant flag pin, use illegal immigrants as human batteries, and shake hands with Jesus. The best part, though, is when he introduces a computer programmed to think like Ronald Reagan as his top pick for VP, because isn’t that pretty much what every Republican since Raegan has secretly wished for, IRL?

Also, maybe I’ve been sleeping on this, but Tyson has some pretty impressive comedic acting chops, no? Maybe a career in comedy will be the next chapter in his strange, troubled life.

L. DiCaprio (J. Edgar Parody) – watch more funny videos

As it turns out, the new Leonardo DiCaprio-starring historical drama J. Edgar can double as a movie about Leo’s Homeric quest for an Oscar with just a little bit of creative dubbing. Over the course of its two-and-a-half minutes, the video mocks a whole bunch of things, including the propensity of the Academy to go for biopics (preferably with accents) over pretty much anything else, as well as the importance of accents in Oscar-bait films. My favorite part, though, comes when it scrolls through the things Leo has been in, and a Bubble Yum commercial from the early nineties somehow makes it in there somewhere between Romeo and Juliet and Inception.

All jokes aside, I really do think it’s about time Leo was at least nominated for Best Actor. I haven’t seen J. Edgar yet, but I just really feel like he deserves it. Someone give this man a statue.

Snooki just launched her very first fragrance, called “Snooki by Nicole Polizzi.” The perfume, described as “bubbly, flirty and sweet,” has notes of kiwi and sugar. For those times you wish to smell like a smoothie!

Although her product is very much a real thing, this promotional video she made for Funny or Die is a total spoof of the fragrance ad tropes. I think by this point it’s clear that Snooki actually has really good comic timing — it seems that’s at the core of why she’s become so successful. Yes, she’s an utterly ridiculous sparkly meatball, but she knows that and she plays it up. She does a really good job with this video — however, I don’t think I’ll be buying her sugary perfume anytime soon.

Kudos To Jennifer Aniston For Saying No To A Brad Pitt Lookalike For Zach Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns Skit

Could we be reaching the home stretch of the “poor Jennifer Aniston is a loveless spinster” era? Last week she proudly posed with boyfriend Justin Theroux, and today we hear a story from Zach Galifianakis about Jen actually standing up for herself when he wanted to make a joke at her expense.

The way he told it (at last weekend’s New Yorker Festival) was that he had a great plan to use a Brad Pitt lookalike in his Between Two Ferns sketch with Jennifer on Funny Or Die. But when he ran the joke by Jennifer — that Zach would pretend that he thought this guy was actually Brad — she was less than happy.

“She looked at me like, ‘What the fuck?’ And I totally agreed with her. How rude of me to do that! Why would she want to talk about that? She gets inundated with that shit all the time. I totally understood.”

Even if the tabloids continue to spin the story of Jennifer sitting at home crying over her Friends DVDs, this anecdote shows she’s obviously still got power. Consider how Zach didn’t pull any punches when dissing January Jones a few months ago. Either he’s scared of Jennifer, or actually respects her. Six years after her divorce, she deserves at least that much.

Until the live-action Captain Planet actually gets cast, Funny Or Die’s made a pretty wickedly funny placeholder: The Planeteers, in amazingly accurate costumes, call up Captain Planet (Don Cheadle) to get rid of the bad guys polluting the Earth, but Cap gets drunk on power and goes eco-terrorist on any person who so much as snaps a twig.

Although they’re not as good as our dream cast, FOD’s choices for the Planeteers are still pretty inspired. That’s Community‘s Gillian Jacobs playing Soviet beauty Linka, and pregnant Disney star Brenda Song as Gi — both with ’90s-stereotype accents. And whoever made the costumes for this skit paid close attention to the Planeteers’ outfits and awful hairstyles. Kwame’s afro is scarily accurate.
