Here’s a funny piece of news today! A highway safety bill is working its way through legislature in Maine. The bill goes beyond just banning cell phones while driving to other activities that may “distract” a driver from operating the vehicle.
Why is this funny? Because the bill was sponsored by Senator Bill Diamond, who decided to get behind the bill after a state trooper reported seeing a woman driving while watching Gilmore Girls on her laptop!
