From the preview clips, we’re guessing Carrie will fall comfortably between Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias on the “competence of non-actor celebrity guest stars” scale we just invented. Britney isn’t the greatest actress, but she was charming enough to avoid the cringe we got when watching Heidi and Spencer, and Enrique was unexpectedly funny as Robin’s Argentinean boyfriend. We’re hoping Carrie manages to pull off a charming and competent performance.

Other celeb guests have included Kim Kardashian, Bob Barker, and Regis Philbin as themselves. People like Amanda Peet, Rachel Bilson, Wayne Brady, Mandy Moore and James Van Der Beek have also appeared, but they actually make a living acting. Jennifer Lopez is slated to appear later in the season, which leads us to wonder: Who will be next? Tara Reid, perhaps?

Jessica spoke about the on-screen hookup, saying that they had no idea that it would be made into such a huge deal. She says, "We got emails from the network explaining how it was going to go down and what was up. And I was a little nervous, but I didn’t think that it was going to be made into actually the deal that it was. They were very fun and professional to work with, both Penn and Hilary, and we had a fun time. We were simple and easy, and I hope people enjoyed watching it."

Well, it’s great to know that they had a lot of fun with it! It’s going to be sad now that Hil is off of GG. Loved the romance with Dan!

In this episode, Hilary’s character, Olivia Burke has to deal with the consequences of having a threesome with her boyfriend Dan Humphrey and roommate Vanessa Abrams. There’s a lot of tension and jealousy between Vanessa and Olivia.

It’s true!!! Last night’s episode of Gossip Girl aired,  showing a steamy threesome between Olivia Burke, boyfriend, Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and Olivia’s roommate, Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr). Yowza! Here is how it all went down.

The three of them come back from a college party, and sit down on the floor together reading the school newspaper. The newspaper lists off a bunch of things that lead to the Ultimate College Experience, the last and only one that they haven’t tried is, of course, the threesome.  So they get this idea…and you get the point. Awkward!

Apparently, she ends up saying something she regrets on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and tries to keep it from Dan at all costs. He desperately wants to see her appearance on the late night talk show, but she’ tries to find some ways around it.
