Thank goodness Handsome Furs are coming back to NY! I was so sad when their Mercury Lounge in March show sold out so quickly that I didn’t get tickets. Although they are at the bigger Bowery Ballrom this time around, I’m still pumped! Those tickets and more are on sale now:

New Venue, Handsome Furs to Play There
None other than Andrew WK is opening a new venue downtown at 100 Lafayette St. called Santa’s Party House. Kinda a great name. And, if the first show is anything of a harbinger of things to come, should be a great venue. It will be Handsome Furs (who had one of my top albums of 2007) on April 5.
