The rumor mill is going crazy over Chelsea Clinton‘s nuptials in upstate New York this weekend. Tabloids, bridal experts and people in the know are making it out to be the next best thing to a royal wedding that the United States will ever see. People are even saying it can’t compare to Jenna Bush‘s wedding, which took place while her father was still in office.

Lots of stories are swirling about the wedding preparations — $15,000 porta-potties! No fly zone! — and here’s a breakdown of the best ones:

Despite wanting to keep the wedding “low key,” Chelsea will have to endure a 400-person party, with megastars like Steven Spielberg and Oprah on the guest list. Not invited? President Obama. Maybe Chels still holds a grudge against him for beating her mamma in the primaries.
In addition to the $15,000 porcelain porta-potties, the Clintons are also shelling out $200,000 for tents for the event. Some reports are putting the total for the wedding at between $3 million and $5 million.
Two Swedish journalists were arrested earlier this week for taking photos of the gates of Astor Courts in Rhineback, N.Y., all but confirming the location of the wedding.
And Chelsea can’t hide her face under that floppy hat. She visited Vera Wang for a last minute dress fitting and she and her bridesmaids will likely be wearing the designer’s work, while her mom is reportedly wearing Oscar de la Renta.

When you’ve been planning your wedding for two years, and a former president’s daughter comes swooping into the town where you’re holding your big event, it’s understandable that you would get a bit worried. For one bride-to-be, this unbelievable situation has become a reality, and she’s worried her own wedding might be doomed. But is she needlessly worrying?

Emn Haddad-Friedman is a 28-year-old bride who scheduled her wedding for July 31 in the Rhinebeck, N.Y. area many months before Chelsea Clinton picked the 50-acre Astor Court estate there for her big day. And while the press touts Chelsea’s wedding as the closest thing the U.S. will see to a royal wedding, Emn worries that bigwigs and dignitaries will shut down roads in the area, barring her guests from attending her event while attempting to keep everyone away from Chelsea and the Clintons.

Although Emn’s worrying might be somewhat justified, since upstate New York roads can be confusing and impassable even without the Secret Service shutting them down, she doesn’t really know for sure what will happen. She can’t get confirmation from local police about which roads — if any — will be shut, nor can she get special permission from them to use the roads. What if nothing is shut down? Then Emn’s worries will all be in vain.

To be fair, Emn hasn’t contacted the press — they’ve sought her out. And she also was kind enough to extend an invite to her party to Chelsea, her parents and her new husband, Marc Mezvinsky. She’s just a stressed out bride who wants to know that all the time, effort and money she and her mother put into her wedding won’t be wasted.
