Jessica Alba plans on being a mother to her child rather than a friend and hopes that her kids will still come up to her with problems.
In a recent interview to FitPregnancy Jessica Alba said “I don’t want to be my child’s best friend; I want to be a mom. But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line.”

Jessica Alba is on the cover of Marie Claire (US/March-08) and opened up to the magazine about part in her life which we did not know about before, being bullied in school. On her school days Jessica said, “I had a lot of haters. They’d unzip my backpack so my books would fall out. They’d tie my shoes together. They’d ‘accidentally’ spill lunches on me.”

Jessica Alba is featured on next month’s issue (Feb08) of CosmoGirl and the title reads, “Jessica Alba, How she went from Misfit to Mis Fab!.” The magazine had released 3 preview pages from the issue in which Jessica is quoted as saying “My mom always calls me after reading the tabloids to say ‘Why don’t you call them to tell them that what they say is not true?’.”
