“Inglourious Basterds” wins awards at Critics’ Choice Awards
On Friday night the Critics’ Choice Awards were televised. I unfortunately missed them since I don’t get any of the channels that were airing it, but I’m thrilled to tell you that Inglourious Basterds won a couple of awards.

Inglourious Basterds up for SAG Best Film Award
There may be a Brad Pitt red carpet appearance in our future because Inglourious Basterds is up for Best Film at the SAG Awards.
He may not be there because Brad is not nominated on his own, but hopefully he will be there to support Quentin Tarantino’s work! After all, red carpet appearances are always fun, especially if Angelina Jolie is there too – I love seeing what they wear to the big shows.

Inglourious Basterds hits shelves on DVD and Blu-Ray this week!
There’s some good news for any Brad Pitt fans who didn’t get a chance to catch Inglourious Basterds in theaters. The film is being released on DVD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday, December 15th, just in time for a good Christmas gift for anyone in your life who loves Brad – or for yourself!

Video clip of Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino on Japanese food show
I have no idea how I never saw this before but when Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino were in Japan to promote Inglourious Basterds they both appeared on some sort of Japanese food & talk show. From what I’ve understood, the concept is that they invite people on the show, prepare a meal for them, and while they wait for it they sit around and chat. By the way, that’s a fabulous idea!

Brad Pitt is ready for “Basterds” prequel
Brad Pitt has said it before, but it seems that he’s really serious when he says that he’d love to do a prequel of Inglourious Basterds.
According to E! Online, Brad’s co-star Eli Roth confirmed that there would be no problem with getting the cast back together for another round, saying, “Everybody would drop whatever they’re doing to go back to work with Quentin.” He also added that Brad routinely spoke about doing a prequel and that Quentin Tarantino already… More »
Brad Pitt talks about his motorcycle mishap – video
Although fans were worried back when Brad Pitt took a tumble off his motorcycle, and although I’m sure he was upset at the time, it seems that Brad has a great sense of humor about the whole thing.
While in Japan for the Inglourious Basterds photocall and premiere, Brad spoke about the “motorcycle mishap” and made light of the situation while a translator re-told the story.

Brad Pitt at the Tokyo photocall and premiere of “Inglourious Basterds”
Today Brad Pitt was all smiles in Tokyo as he showed up for the Inglourious Basterds photocall, then later for the movie’s premiere.
For the photocall, Brad wore a laid-back dark suit (probably Tom Ford but don’t quote me on that just yet!). He looked particularly impish as he stood for photos, wonder if there was some sort of behind-the-scenes joking around that we don’t know about – after all, we know what his sense of humor is like!

Brad Pitt arrives in Tokyo
Brad Pitt has arrived in Japan, flying into the Narita International Airport in Tokyo. He’s in the city for the premiere of Inglourious Basterds but he’s likely not staying for very long since he’s there on his own.

Brad Pitt arrives at the San Sebastian film festival
Brad Pitt was all smiles as he arrived at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain today. He’s in town to promote Inglourious Basterds at the festival. He seems to have arrived solo, but maybe Angelina Jolie will be on the red carpet later since she’s not part of the press junkets. Inglourious Basterds continues to do well at box office!
Even though Inglourious Basterds is now in its third week, it’s still doing extremely well at the box office. Over the long weekend it took in over $15 million, landing in second place (after Final Destinations, another movie I’d like to see).
In total it’s made $95,226,000 which is excellent since they’ve now more than cleared the $70 million budget the movie had!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrived on the red carpet for Inglourious Basterds at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles to the usual screaming frenzy of crowds of fans!
Both Brad and Angelina look amazing! Brad is wearing a dark suit and matching dark shades, while Angelina looks HOT in a strapless leather dress and sandals.

Brad Pitt’s busy weekend in New Orleans and Los Angeles!
Brad Pitt must have a ton of energy just to keep up with his own life. Having six kids is enough to tire most people out as it is, but on top of that, Brad has been busy!
