Interview: Frank Warren Hopes the PostSecret App Will Enhance, Not Replace, the Website's Original Creativity

Five years ago, strangers began writing their darkest, most embarrassing, most intimate secrets on postcards and mailing them to Frank Warren, who would post them on an anonymous blog that became known as PostSecret. Since the blog’s inception, Frank has published five collections and gone on speaking tours across college campuses. Now, he’s following the next logical step: Create an app. More »

Gallery: Maroon 5′s Adam Levine Gets Shirtless For Out Magazine

Gallery: Maroon 5's Adam Levine Gets Shirtless For Out Magazine

I know we’ve said some unkind things about his music in the past, but at the end of the day, Adam Levine is a tasty bit of man candy, is he not? In a recent interview with Out Magazine, Levine said some things that actually made sense (“I’ve got the moves like Jagger” wasn’t one of them), in addition to many things that did not. Sure, we’d like him better if in addition to rock hard abs he had Adam Scott‘s personality, but the fun thing about celebrities you are never going to meet is you can look at pictures of them and make pretend they have whatever type of personality your spank bank requires. Maybe don’t read the quotes from the interview if you’re going to do this. More »

Interview: Renee Graziano from ‘Mob Wives’ Didn’t Always Know Her Father Was a Gangster

Interview: Renee Graziano from 'Mob Wives' Didn't Always Know Her Father Was a Gangster

I was so excited for Mob Wives to air, and am already anxiously anticipating next season. It just makes sense; with the portrayal of mob wives in The Sopranos, as well as mafia rumors in Real Housewives of New Jersey and Growing Up Gotti, the show just made sense. One of my favorites from the show is mob daughter Renee Graziano, whose sister, Jenn Graziano, produces the show. More »

Chelsea Houska's Stepmom Rita Thinks Chelsea Is a Good Parent

Although we see a lot of Chelsea Houska and her dad Randy “Randalicious” Houska on MTV’s Teen Mom 2, Randy’s wife Rita has been a nonentity. There have been rumors that Rita and Chelsea don’t get along (which is why Randy always goes to Chelsea’s place, instead of the other way around), but Rita has finally spoken out about her relationship with her stepdaughter. Interview: 'M. Night School' Creator Discusses Trailers, Twists, and Whether He Expects Shyamalan to Actually Go Back to Film School

This past Monday, M. Night School launched: The cheeky website is trying to raise $150,000 through crowdsourcing — asking just a dollar a person — to send M. Night Shyamalan back to film school at NYU. We spoke with the site’s creator, BBDO copywriter Chris Baker (@funkmastabaker), about what he and the other creators will do if they fail to raise the money, what could be responsible for Shyamalan’s creative downslide, and the negative backlash they’ve already received. Video: Keanu Reeves Discusses 'Bill & Ted 3'

Forget The Matrix- as far as I’m concerned, Keanu Reeves‘ most important contribution to society was Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. There have been rumors that a third Bill & Ted movie is in the works, and Keanu talked to MTV about whether the project is a go. More »

Crushable Quotable: Nathan Fillion Doesn't Like Thin Mints

But he does like Samoas! By now, you’ve probably all seen the vaguely-WTF cover of this week’s Entertainment Weekly– and by “WTF,” I mostly mean, “What on Earth is Nathan Fillion doing?” Answer: Making jazz hands while wearing a Green Lantern T-shirt. Interview: Broadway Star and ‘Victorious’ Mean Girl Elizabeth Gillies Couldn’t Handle Bieber Fans

Interview: Broadway Star and 'Victorious' Mean Girl Elizabeth Gillies Couldn't Handle Bieber Fans

Actress and performer Elizabeth Gillies has certainly done her homework: Before her current starring role on Nickelodeon’s Victorious as mean girl Jadelyn West, she had a guest spot on a Nickelodeon show in the ’90s (6 to 8 Frozen Zone), and in 2008 she appeared in the Broadway musical 13 playing — you guessed it — a huge snob who also belts out hit songs.

Victorious, entering its second season, is a sitcom about Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) and her struggles to fit in at Hollywood Arts, a performing-arts school. (It’s also the brainchild of Dan Schneider, creator of iCarly, Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show, and more.) In addition to the usual high school relationship woes, Tori and her friends — including frenemy Jade — find themselves having to write and perform original songs, and deal with filmmakers and divas. Crushable sat down with Gillies at the press junket for the new Victorious soundtrack and chatted about ’90s Nickelodeon shows, veganism, and Justin Bieber‘s recent troubles with fans in Liverpool. Interview: Grant Achatz on Plagiarism, Social Media, and the Celebrity Chef

Interview: Grant Achatz on Plagiarism, Social Media, and the Celebrity Chef

USA’s motto has always been “Characters Welcome” in reference to the original and rerun scripted shows that it runs. But now the network has branched out with the USA Character Approved Awards, highlighting real people in a variety of industries – fashion, theatre, art, food, design – who are bringing effective change to the world through their passions.

Crushable had the chance to speak with one of the honorees: Grant Achatz, the chef at Alinea and the winner of the 2008 James Beard Award, famous for his progressive work in molecular gastronomy. Alinea has received countless accolades for its innovative 12- or 24-course tasting menus. Achatz is also a cancer survivor, overcoming tongue cancer in 2007. More »

Excerpts From 20/20′s ‘Charlie Sheen: In His Own Words’

Excerpts From 20/20's 'Charlie Sheen: In His Own Words'

Charlie Sheen‘s been in the media everywhere lately for alleged drug use, love of porn stars, alleged domestic violence, and erratic behavior. He gave rambling radio interviews and just decided to do an ABC 20/20 interview from inside his home. There was a lot about this interview I didn’t understand: why he drinks water through his eyes, who the fuck the “Goddesses” are, why he uses such nerdy terminology (“winning,” “terrestrial realm,” “wizard,” and “warlock,” to name a few). I have to sympathize with him. He seems like he’s going through such a rough time, and he gave me like 20 of my craziest quotes in the first seven minutes of his interview. So, here are some of the most bizarre quotes from the interview: More »

Extra scored the first post-rehab interview with troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan, and this 50-second preview clip gives us a taste of what’s in store. Maybe producers chose a segment that makes Linds look particularly good, but she appears shockingly well-adjusted, admitting that she needs to work on her recovery and before focusing on rebuilding her career. Interview: NYC Band ‘The Hotcakes’ on Dating, Dancing, And ‘No Doubt’

Interview: NYC Band 'The Hotcakes' on Dating, Dancing, And 'No Doubt'

New York rock quartet The Hotcakes are often compared favorably to the band Blondie in reviews, and it’s easy to see why. Not just because lead singer Erin Marz‘s has Debbie Harry hair, but the sweet 70s disco-pop sounds that prevailed on their 2008 self-titled EP are as catchy as “Sunday Girl.”

We were lucky enough to chat with Erin and her three handsome bandmates (Matt Stamm, Kevin Snider, and Lee Leshen) before they debuted their second EP “Gonna Go Out” at NYC club Arlene’s Grocery this Saturday night. More »
