Despite rumors and what we may have seen in the finale, Burke will (in all likelihood) be back in Grey’s Anatomy come season 4.

His publicist said, “We fully expect to be back in the fall. The deal’s not done but we have no reason to believe he won’t be putting on the scrubs.”

Isaiah Washington will be appearing in a gay rights ad for GLAAD’s Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network.

“We’re gonna have _ I want to say at least two versions of it at this point. We may broaden our message a little,” the actor’s publicist, Howard Bragman, told The Associated Press in a phone interview Wednesday.
Good for him, I say. Just as long as he means it, I think it’s great. Looking forward to seeing the ads.

From the look of these pictures it looks like the big Cristina/Burke wedding is actually going to happen, though whether or not Burke and Cristina go through with it isn’t entirely clear.
Ausiello posted rumors that Burke has second thoughts about marrying Cristina, so who knows how those uncertainties will play out.

Isaiah Washington has been cast to play a priest who was sexually abused at his Catholic High School. The film, written by Nathan Scoggins, is titled The Least of These and “focuses on the corruption of priests who do not speak out to protect abuse victims.”

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly Magazine Isaiah Washington answers the question: Will he be back next season? rather mysteriously.
Despite assurances from all sides that Dr. Burke isn’t going anywhere, Isaiah Washington himself seems rather unsure.

When EW tracked him down after the ceremony to ask whether he’ll be back at Seattle Grace next season, Washington was noticeably cryptic: ”I don’t know the facts of what’s going on.”

Reports are emerging that Isaiah Washington might be sitting out on the pay raises this year due to his homophobic slurs.

Well, it’s official, Isaiah Washington returned to the Grey’s Anatomy set yesterday, after a week of counseling for his homophobic slurs.
Don’t know if that means he’s back for good, or if issues still need to be worked out. I imagine there will be issues for a while, all the same.
Hope he’s returned a new man. Or … something.
