]]> Oprah Winfrey is getting ready to launch the 24th season of her daytime talk show and she’s asked fellow Chicago native, Jennifer Hudson, to help celebrate. 

I’m not completely sure (please correct me if I’m wrong) but I think this is Jennifer’s first performance since the birth of her son, David, almost a month ago.

The party is taking place on the Magnificent Mile (are you surprised?  This is Oprah!) with Jennifer slated to appear alongside illusionist Criss Angel (I really dislike him – anyone else feel the same way?) and the Black Eyed Peas.

*Note*  If you’re in the Chicago area, you might want to avoid North Michigan Avenue since some of it is being shut down and I’m sure the traffic around it will be brutal!
