And the music continues…

Shearwater, Jens Lekman, and the Phenomenal Handclap Band all played Brooklynvegan’s showacase on Tuesday night at Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Shearwater was the “suprise special guest” which delighted me because I was supposed to see them on Monday night at (le) Poisson Rouge and could not attend at the last minute. CMJ starts next week and there is going to be a ton of stuff going on. You don’t need a badge to get into a lot of stuff, but you will need to buy tickets in advance for some. This is by no means a definitive list, but more a list of stuff I’m excited for!

Swedish balladeer Jens Lekman, who put on one of my top shows of 2007, is returning Stateside in the spring, with a stop at Webster Hall on April 5th. I guess he likes it there…Here are the rest of his dates:
