More evidence that the cast of Gossip Girl is not getting along with Jessica Szohr: after a screening of Chase Crawford‘s movie Twelve in New York this week, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley stayed to party with Chace on the roof of the Standard Hotel while Jessica and her friend Jessica Stam ducked out “presumably avoiding an icy reception from her co-stars,” Page Six reports.

Maybe they’re Team Ed. Break-ups are hard on everyone.

Huey Lewis’ Son Austin Cregg Is Kind Of Hot, May Be Reformed

Out late with a college friend last night, we were heading home at 3 a.m. when we were joined by a friend of a friend who – I swear to god – looked like he could have been Dominic West‘s younger, more American brother. He was sort of drunk and insisting on playing pool despite the bar obviously closing, which might have lent him a more McNulty-like appearance. He was disheveled with what looked like a chronic case of bed-head, and was complaining about the bars on Canal Street. He called me a “firecracker” (which is a very good line to not get laid with) and we talked about our signs (both Geminis). So basically, just another drunk 20-something in New York shooting the shit. I didn’t give it much thought until after we said goodbye.

“That guy looked like a younger version of the dude from The Wire,” I pointed out once we were on the train back to Brooklyn.

“Actually he looks way more like a younger version of Huey Lewis,” my friend replied, “since that’s who he is.”

I woke up this morning and did a quick Google search …yep, that’s him all right. Though he didn’t smoke any drugs or try to tag a building in the 15 minutes I hung out with him – which is how the 25-year-old Austin Cregg who was (is?) dating model Jessica Stam ended up in court in 2008 – so maybe the NYU graduate reformed after his stint apartment-sharing with Kieran Culkin and Daisy Lowe. After all, it’s hip to be square.

Mary-Kate Olsen in Paris

Mary-Kate Olsen is truly a fashion jet-setter. After spending the past few weeks in Milan with boyfriend Nate Lowman for their fashion week, Elle UK spotted MK arriving in Paris to party with models Jessica Stam and Angela Lindval.

The trio was spotted at Paris’s hottest hang-out, Chez Regine last night.

I can only hope candids of MK in Paris pop up. I was disappointed there was nothing from Milan. I love her style in Paris–it’s different from what she wears in the States!

Mary-Kate Olsen’s Fourth of July

In complete contrast to the story Star Magazine published this week, Fox News is reporting that Mary-Kate Olsen had a happy, healthy and alcohol-free Fourth of July weekend and pal Jessica Stam’s house in the Hamptons.

“I’ve never seen her [Mary-Kate] in such good spirits, and she didn’t look anything like her old emaciated self,” their source says. MK wore a long black sweater, drank Snapple and water and laughed a lot with Stam’s friends from NYU. The source noted that MK stayed away from the boys at the party and refused to be photographed.

I’d be inclined to believe Fox over Star any day, and it’s pretty well known that MK and Jessica are pretty good friends.

Olsen Files has photos of Mary-Kate in Soho on July 8. She’s wearing a bright red dress and some neat avant-garde jewelry.

Mary-Kate Olsen Celebrates Jessica Stam’s Birthday

On Wednesday evening, Mary-Kate Olsen was on hand, along with Chrissie Miller, Jared Seligman,Michelle Trachtenberg and Tara Subkof to celebrates supermodel Jessica Stam‘s 22 birthday.

The low-key dinner was a Nobu Next Door in NYC. Afterwards, the entire gang headed to Lit to continue the birthday party, according to Style.com.

I love Jessica and I love that her and MK are friends. I hope Jessica had a fantastic birthday!

In other MK news, she was spotted on April 22 wearing a very colorful tent outside her NYC home.

Mary-Kate Olsen is pals with Canadian model Jessica Stam.

She even gets a mention in a Style.com profile on Jessica at Paris Fashion Week:

Finally, Stam gets a chance to eat and catch up with friends, including Mary-Kate Olsen, Christian Dior’s Alexis Roche, and Proenza Schouler’s Shirley Cook. They consider the Hôtel Costes for dinner, but decide to avoid the lobby scene and opt for an Italian restaurant in the Marais, where every pub is tuned to the European rugby matches. “I feel awkward wearing couture when everyone else here is wearing rugby jerseys and jeans,” Stam teases. Believe it or not, in some parts of Paris, more attention is being paid to sports than fashion week.
