Last year I tried to see Lauren Hill at this concert series and couldn’t get in so I suggest getting there early, especially for Erykah Badu. Here’s the lineup:

So many festivals this summer, so little time. If you’re into jazz though, this one’s for you. The JVC Jazz Festival will be in in NY June 15-28 at various venues. They have a wide variety of performers and somewhat loose interpretation of jazz–artists as diverse as Gil Scott-Heron, Maceo Parker, Jill Scott, Al Green, Soulive, Herbie Hancock, and Brad Mehldau will be performing.
