Gratuitous Shirtless Jonas Brothers!

The Jonas Brothers strip down to their bottoms in their new movie, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience!

Nick, Joe, and Kevin were filmed getting changed backstage during a concert and didn’t realize they had been caught on film! “We wanted to film everything backstage, and that just happened to be our quick-change room and they caught us. It was really funny,” Joe says.

Nick explains, “The thing is, we were in the midst of the show, so we were just continuing like a show. So when we went backstage, we didn’t realize they were there and we were changing … we went, ‘Oh my gosh! Wow! We might want to get them out of here.’ So it was in the moment!”

The audience sure seemed to like it!!

Jonas Brothers Theater Invasion Recap

The Jonas Brothers hit up Las Vegas and San Francisco to round out their whirlwind weekend of theater invasions for their new 3D movie!

They updated their MySpace page with a final blog post to recap their activities. They also ask for advice on where they should travel in their upcoming WORLD tour!

What a weekend! We have traveled so much over the last few days trying to see as many of our fans as possible. It was an unbelievable experience to go to the different places and pop in on our fans. We will never forget the looks on the faces of the people in the theaters when we just walked in. It is worth it to see this kind of reaction.

We have been reading your comments and messages on all of our sites throughout the weekend. Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed the movie. It really is something we are proud of and excited for people to see. Thank you for going to the midnight screenings, multiple screenings of the movie, inviting your friends, uploading videos and pictures, etc. It is a tough time for many right now and we are thankful to you for choosing to come to our movie this weekend.

Here is the list of cities we visted:

1. LA – 1st Midnight screening
2. Nyack, NY – This was our first stop on Saturday
3. Charlotte, NC
4. Atlanta, GA
5. Dallas, TX
6. Austin, TX – 1st stop on the 2nd day
7. Las Vegas
8. San Francisco
Then back home to LA.

Altogether we went more than 6,000 miles in 2 1/2 days. The best part was seeing the faces of the people we surprised AND reading your comments just before and after the flights.

We have been told that the people that saw the movie LOVED the movie. Don’t forget to let your friends know that it was fun for you.

Just as an FYI…we will be announcing our World Tour dates VERY SOON.

Jonas Brothers 3D Movie Failed Industry Projections

Although there was a lot of hype surrounding the Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, what with all their surprise appearances over the weekend, the movie still failed to even meet HALF of the projected sales!

The movie sold approximately $12.7 million in tickets at North American theaters. Hollywood box-office experts had predicted the movie’s gross would be in the $25 million range, based mostly on the fact that Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert movie opened at $31.1 million.

I’m wondering if it has anything to do with Miley’s movie originally being promoted as a “one week limited engagement”? I remember feeling the urgency to go see it opening weekend, where I didn’t feel that way about the JoBros movie.

Thoughts?

Jonas Brothers Invade Austin, TX!

The Jonas Brothers stopped in Austin, Texas today as part of their 3D Movie invasion!!

Hey everyone!

It is Sunday morning here in the US and our first stop today was in Austin, Texas. We just left the theater and it was something we will never forget.

We were so excited to visit this awesome city since it has such a great music community.

The reaction here was incredible. The audience seemed very thankful that we chose to come here which was so exciting for us.

We also heard that Cinema Score (a company that does exit polls as people leave theaters) gave our movie an A, which means that you, our fans, are loving the movie. That news made us feel so great since this film is for OUR FANS.

The Jonas Brothers did their fourth invasion yesterday during their whirlwind 3D Movie surprise tour! They hit TWO theaters in Atlanta this time.

They updated their blog, saying …

We just finished a visit to 2 theaters in Atlanta, GA. Both stops were amazing. The fans were so happy and that is the reason we do what we do. It has been so cool to take a couple days and see our fans in THEIR home towns and neighborhood theaters.

Hey everyone! We just finished the third stop on our 3D tour invasion!

We stopped in Charlotte, NC, and the fans were amazing! They might have had the best reaction yet. By the time we left, there were already hundreds of people outside. We’re on our way to the airport now to head to the next city.

Tiffany Giardina Plays With Elvis!

Tiffany Giardina walked the red carpet last week for the Jonas Brothers: 3D Movie premiere and in two different interviews she talks about playing with Nick’s dog Elvis!!

“I got to see Nick’s dog Elvis, and I was so excited. He’s so much cuter in person. He’s so furry. I was playing frisbee with him and it was fun,” Tiffany says to Katie and Karleigh. She says she’s excited to see the movie and looks forward to seeing what goes on backstage. “It will probably be very funny!”

Tiffany also reveals her favorite Jonas Brothers song is BB Good and talks about her recent album release, No Average Angel!

Jonas Brothers Surprise Fans at Their 2nd Stop!

The Jonas Brothers surprised fans at their second stop – today at the AMC Loews Palisades Center 21 in New York.

Nick, Joe, and Kevin are spending the weekend popping in on random locations to hang out with fans watching their new movie, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.

The brothers updated their blog, saying “The great thing is that we used to live close to this mall and watched tons of movies here. The crowd went crazy. It was so fun to see the joy on the faces of the fans!”

The Jonas Brothers Make Their First 3D Movie Surprise Appearance

The Jonas Brothers made their first surprise appearance last night at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood! It was during the midnight showing of their 3D movie.

Not only did they show up, they played a mini-concert for the fans! Listen to the screaming and sing-along while Nick, Joe, and Kevin sing S.O.S. Catch them singing Burning Up and Lovebug after …

The brothers blogged about their experience on their official MySpace page, saying “Last night we started our Theater Invasion Tour by stopping in at the Midnight Screening at the El Capitan Theater. It was really cool to walk in and surprise everyone. The place was on fire before we ever went out to see everyone. They were singing and laughing. When we walked out the fans were amazing! We can’t wait to go around to see as many theaters as possible this weekend!”

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience shows off footage of Kevin, Joe and Nick during their Burning Up concert tour — featuring guest performances by Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. It also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, off-the-wall segments, and their new song Love Is On Its Way.
