And if you’re a Jonas Brothers fan, don’t miss the season premiere of their newly named show, Jonas L.A. on Sunday on the Disney Channel.

Music: Canadian rapper Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later is officially out on Tuesday and ready for public consumption. Pick it up, if you haven’t already gotten your hands on the leaked version. Sarah McLachlan is also back with her first new music in seven years, Laws of Illusion, also out Tuesday.

“I think we were introduced to being dumped abruptly with the Post It note on Sex and the City,” Dr. Gilda tells Crushable. “I think that any girl who was watching that — and I was addicted — recognizes that it’s very difficult for guys to say goodbye and they’re going to find the easiest way out, whether it’s a Post It or a quick phone call. But when he gets his daddy involved, I think that’s something that the girl should then say, ‘Oh, am I lucky this is over.’”

What advice would you give someone to get over an abrupt breakup?

If this is out of the blue, of course your in shock. And then you’re angry. But after the shock and the anger is over, you have to look at what you really had. Because if he can walk out that quickly, with so little remorse, you are so lucky to be rid of him.

Moving forward, how would you deal with your feelings of “why me?”

You have to ask the question: why did I even get involved with this guy? If he was a daddy’s boy, for example, why didn’t I see those signs? That’s something that you take into your next relationship, to open your eyes and be much more aware of all the signals to watch out.

How can Demi handle seeing Joe daily while they’re on tour?

It’s going to be difficult, but focus on why you’re touring. Focus on your job. Don’t focus on him. Understand that the best revenge is doing well. That should be your mantra. Just do well, stick to what you’re there for, befriend other people and look to find other guys. Not to make him jealous, but to make you happy. There is a big difference. That revenge strategy is only going to backfire on you.

It seems to reason that Demi might be afraid to be dumped abruptly again. How can she get over her fears?

If you figure that all these guys are going to leave you anyway, that puts you in the victim role. And if you think a new guy is going to dump you, guess what? He will. Because those are the vibes you’ll be giving out — I’m dumpable and I’m ready to be dumped. So be positive and be focused.

Star Shrinking: How Demi Lovato Will Get Over Joe Jonas

Much like the Don Draper Barbie doll, we have to ask ourselves “Who did the Jonas Brothers have in mind for their target audience when they decided to design their own line of surfing shorts?” Like, moms who have heard the phrase “Jonas Brothers” before and decided their sons would love a pair because they are “hip to what the kids like these days”?

At any rate, Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas have teamed up with Shortomatic.com to create their own personalized brand of board shorts; each representing a distinct style of their own. From the press release:

Nick Jonas –
Inspiration:  See him in his prized Shelby Mustang. His shorts feature the Shelby Cobra, re-illustrated for the job, plus the racing stripes all in the exact car color. Even down to his lucky dice hanging on the mirror…are inside the shorts!!

Kevin Jonas –
Inspiration:  He’s obsessed by James Dean. So take the icon on the day of his death, driving in his famous ‘little bastard’ Porsche Spyder. I have redrawn every detail of the car for this design, including the whole lining being in perforated red leather effect. Also featured on the waistband “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.”

Joe Jonas –
Inspiration: He was raised in the desert at Casa Grande, this part of Arizona is a special touchstone for him and he retreats to the desert often. His shorts are a beautiful image of the very spot, all wonderfully lined in a ‘crazed, cracked desert floor’ pattern.

Which translates to:
Nick Jonas – made shorts with his favorite Mustang on them with “lucky dice” on the inside.
Kevin – made shorts featuring the Porsche James Dean died in.
Joe – desert-themed.

The press release also says the shorts are perfect for “Dads and grads.” Would you buy these for your dad or anyone else?
