I knew it, I knew it, I KNEW IT!!!!!! Julien Doré has won France’s version of American Idol. Tonight, Nouvelle Star, announced the winner. Again, a male contestant has won but he is definitely “unique.” This season, he took so many “classic” songs and made them strange and entertaining. Around the world, people took notice and international media has been following his progress.

I love when things turn out like they should. There were definitely many talented contestants on this season of Nouvelle Star but two have stood out – Tigane and Julien.
Tigane (far left) is so easy to like. He is smooth and picks songs you can groove to. This week he sang Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body” and Lionel Richie’s “Hello.” He is sexual and sensual and the judges love him!

France Idol’s Julien Does Sinatra
Julien Doré, star of American Idol’s French counterpart, Nouvelle Star, sang Frank Sinatra’s “Strangers in the Night.” It wasn’t his best performance but he is still one of the most entertaining people I’ve seen this season.
