Chris Colfer and Other Stars Who Got Bad News Via the Media
Last week, Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced that three of the shows’ stars would be leaving when their characters graduated from high school: Chris Colfer (Kurt), Cory Monteith (Finn), and Lea Michele (Rachel). While Murphy insinuated that he had discussed the decision with the cast. Turned out that wasn’t the case: Chris reportedly found out he lost his job when he read about it on Twitter.
However, Chris isn’t the only star who got bad news via the media. Several other stars also found out about show cancellations or firings through newspaper articles or Twitter messages. More »

Crystal Bowersox Broke Up With Boyfriend Before ‘Idol’ Finale
Is Crystal Bowersox’s boyfriend Big Tony the biggest douchebag in the world? Maybe. The American Idol runner up (who may be better off after all) revealed to Ryan Seacrest this morning that the two broke up mere hours before the Idol performance show on Tuesday.

There was lots of hugging and crying on tonight’s American Idol — it was like Paula Abdul was back!
Sadly, no. But wow: Ellen Degeneres actually jumped up from her perch on the judges’ panel to hug contestant Tim Urban for doing an impressive job on that old Idol standard “Hallelujah.” And Kara Dioguardi let her steely guard down, sobbing uncontrollably over new dad Michael Lynche’s R&B stylings.

Well, this news sort of involves Hilary Duff so I wanted to share it. Kara DioGuardi, who worked with Hilary on a few singles, has been added to American Idol as a 4th judge for the upcoming season!
