John Travolta's grieving family the target of extortion artists

This is about the most disgusting thing I’ve read in a long time. John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who lost their son Jett last month to a seizure disorder, have been targeted by a couple of slimeballs who took cellphone picture of their son as he lay dying in the ambulance, and have threatened to release these pictures worldwide unless the Travoltas pay them millions of dollars. John and Kelly immediately got their lawyers on these guys, and hopefully everything will be taken care of quickly.

Can you believe this? Taking advantage of a family that has lots a child for MONEY?!?!? I hope these losers go to jail for a very long time. Just disgusting.

Tom Cruise talks about the Travolta tragedy

Tom Cruise, who is a longtime friend of both John Travolta and Kelly Preston, talked about the death of their son Jett this morning on “The View”, calling it “horrific”. You can see he’s trying to control himself as he speaks…..this whole thing is just the saddest tragedy imaginable. Watch:

Update on the death of Jett Travolta

I’ve got a few updates on the tragic death of Jett Travolta, the oldest child of John Travolta and Kelly Preston.

First, there was an autopsy, and the cause of death was found to be seizure disorder. Parents John and Kelly have returned to Florida with Jett’s ashes; no word on a funeral yet.

Secondly, here’s the official statement from the Travolta family:

We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences.

Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us ahope for a brighter future.
