JK Rowling is going to get her own Barbie Doll – images!
Just what she’s always wanted, I’m sure! JK Rowling is going to be getting her very own Barbie doll likeness, according to Mattel. The doll will NOT be available for sale, unfortunately. She will be dressed in a black suit and hot pink tank underneath, and if you want to see the doll, you’ll have to travel to the Nuremberg Toy Fair, where it will be displayed. Warner Brothers confirms: Deathly Hallows will be in 3D
It’s official: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released in 3D.
“We are experienced and have been successful in the conversion of 2D to 3D going back to such hits as ‘The Polar Express,’ select scenes in ‘Superman Returns’ and the last two Harry Potter films,” Warners domestic distribution boss Dan Fellman said.
What do you think of a 3D experience? Personally, I’m pretty much “meh” about this announcement. I hate wearing the little glasses!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince misses out on Grammy
Well, the Grammys aired yesterday, and unfortunately, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince soundtrack written by Nicholas Hooper lost out to the soundtrack of Up, composed by Michael Giacchino. Oh, well – I loved the Up soundtrack (and the movie!) so congratulations to the winners!

I’m not much for video games, in fact, the only one I really enjoy playing is Guitar Hero (Metallica Guitar Hero is my favorite!), but I have to say that this new Harry Potter Lego Years 1-4 trailer is almost, ALMOST making me want to play some. :>) Check it out:

Wizarding World of Harry Potter grabs a coveted Super Bowl ad spot
Well, I guess I’m going to have to actually WATCH the Super Bowl this year, because The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will have a new TV promo during the Saints vs. Colts matchup.

The big fight between Molly Weasley and Bellatrix Lestrange – sneak peek!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows….in 3D?
Supposedly, Warner Brothers is near to a decision on whether or not Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be in 3D.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, WB is testing audience reactions on the 3D remake of “Clash of the Titans”, and since the tests are going SO well, they’re thinking that DH will benefit from a little bit of 3D action, too.
