The Knitting Factory had been a fixture of downtown New York for decades until it closed last year. After much delay, it is finally reopening in Brooklyn, at 361 Metropolitan Ave. in Williamsburg to be exact.
To celebrate their grand opening tomorrow (Wednesday September 9), Les Savy Fav will be playing. It’s all sold out (probably to industry insiders), but the bar will still be open to the public.

The Antlers Playing Tonight, Next Week

The Antlers Playing Tonight, Next Week

Ambient music experts The Antlers, which is mostly Peter Silberman, will be playing a show tonight at the Knitting Factory with The Lisps and Spanish Prisoners. Then, next Friday, February 8, they will be at Pianos with Bridges and Powerlines and Square Wave Punch.
Additionally, it seems they will be playing a 3-week residency at Club Midway in April.
