Never in my life did I think I would actively pursue a sociopathic roommate that makes my life more challenging and more dangerous on a weekly basis. But after watching The B in Apartment 23 this season I’m adding it to my list of “people I want in my life.” More »
So here’s the deal, ladies. We all know you had some interesting experiences with your boarding school roommate, your freshman year roommate, your first roommate right out of college, or all of the above. Her friends always sat on your bed, she never washed out her cereal bowl, she blasted her TV when you tried to sleep… Hard life. But NONE of these compare to poor little June Bug’s first roommate in New York City in the new show Don’t Trust The B—- in Apt 23. More »
The new show Don’t Trust the B in Apt. 23 proves once and for all that James Van Der Beek is a genius when it comes to career comebacks. He’s the breakout star of ABC’s new comedy starring Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker and it’s his character that will make the show a success.

We may be sick of the old love song — You know, “Girl meets boy, girl finds out boy is part of the walking undead and craves her blood, boy redeems himself by proving vampires can hold feelings in their cold hearts,” blah blah blah — but that doesn’t mean we’re bored with vampire stories in general. We’re actually psyched for Vamps, which pairs Clueless director Amy Heckerling with her former star Alicia Silverstone and Gilmore Girl’s Krysten Ritter. And looking at these newly released stills from the set on Vamps – about how hard it is to be a female vampire on the dating scene – this movie will turn the dark brooding bloodsucking dude mythology on its head. Yesterday we learned that the new Alicia Silverstone film Vamps is casting for male love interests for Krysten Ritter and asked you guys: What hot young actors would make the best new vampire? I’m disappointed in you all for voting Dave Franco into last place with 9%…how will he ever escape from his brother James’ shadow if you don’t give him the chance? And Nightmare on Elm Street’s raccoon-eyed Kyle Gallner came in second-to-last with 12% despite already looking like… More »
Are The Vampire Diaries, True Blood and Twilight series not enough to fill your neck-biting fetish? Don’t worry, Hollywood has found its cash cow and is draining it dry. Filming has already begun on Vamps, a blood-sucking comedy directed by Amy Heckerling (Clueless!) and starring Alicia Silverstone, Sigourney Weaver, and Krysten Ritter. Crushable’s heard that the film is still casting for a male lead opposite Krysten and we wondered: Who would make the next great Edward Cullen/Bill Compton/Damon Salvatore ?

One Gilmore Girls alum that’s building up a fantastic film career is Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls). Variety reports Krysten has signed on to a new independent film called Killing Bono, which is based on the book Killing Bono: I Was Bono’s Doppleganger. Not surprisingly, the book is about U2′s Bono, and is written by Neil McCormick, who went to school with Bono and his attempt to beat U2 in a quest for fame. Her co-star is Ben Barnes,… More »
Thanks to commenter mrcityrk for pointing out that actress Shelly Cole (Madeleine on Gilmore Girls) had a small role in last Friday’s series finale for the USA show Monk. IMDB has her down as “Edie Kazarinksy” and mrcityrk describes her role as follows:
“She was the hit-mans slightly drunken ex-wife who got to make some snide commentary for a scene lasting about a minute.”
Did anyone else catch her?
In other news, Shelly had a bit part in “How To Make Love… More »
When we last heard of Alexis Bledels’ (Rory on Gilmore Girls) whereabouts, she was filming “The Conspirator” in Savannah, Georgia much to the excitement of the locals. However, this past weekend, Alexis traded in her period piece dresses for a much chic-er look as she made her way to New York City for several very fun events. In the below photo, she’s at the Alice and Olivia pop-up store opening at fancy boutique SCOOP.
That same night, she went to… More »
Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) was enjoying a frosty martini at the Bailey’s Holiday Shoe Shop Launch in New York City earlier this month. She’s got a good reason to enjoy a drink; per her IMDB page, Krysten has recently completed 4 movies and has another, “Vamps” currently in pre-production! The most high-profile appears to be “Margaret,” a dram starring Anna Paquin, Matthew Broderick and Allison Janney. Unfortunately, the page for the film says it’s “tied up in… More »

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) will star in the new web series Woke Up Dead. The series is being produced by Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder, who will also star in the series. The series follows Heder as Drex, a USC student who wakes up underwater in his bath and suspects he may be dead. The series “plays with the conventions of the zombie-horror genre.” Though he craves eating brains, Drex doesn’t believe he’s a zombie.
The series will… More »

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) has had a long guest arc on the AMC series Breaking Bad this season. Her character, Jane Margolis, first appeared in an April episode and became, in time, a romantic interest for Jesse (Aaron Paul).
