Prince Harry Drinks For Free In Las Vegas, Learns Why Midwesterners Love The Place

Prince Harry seems to be enjoying all Las Vegas has to offer. On a vacation from his military work, the young royal has been hanging out in the town where secrets stay. He got to see a Cirque Du Soleil show called “O” this Saturday night, and was impressed by the performance.

As a member of the royal family you’d think Harry would be used to getting things for free, but he was apparently still floored by the free flowing booze you can enjoy while losing hundreds at the black jack tables.

“He couldn’t believe you got free  drinks from gambling at the blackjack tables,” People magazine learned from a source. I wonder if he was also impressed by the restaurant’s complimentary after dinner mints.

Harry eventually ended up at the XS Nightclub, where he hung out without much fanfare until 4 a.m. The prince’s adventures aren’t exactly the things Axe commercials are made of, but it is interesting someone so wealthy could be impressed with getting some free booze. Harry obviously appreciates the little things in life.

Last night was the premiere of Investigation Discovery’s new show Hookers: Saved on the Strip. And boy was it terrible! Not even in a hilarious way, but in a way that was just boring and sort of depressing. Sadface emoticon!

The show revolves around Annie Lobert, an ex-prostitute who founded Hookers for Jesus, a Las Vegas safe house that rehabs sex workers. Last night’s ep introduced us to a woman named Regina who’d been hooking for over a decade before deciding to get out of the game. As Regina hopped around from minimum wage job interview to minimum wage job interview, we began to get the impression that she has absolutely no skills — or even interests — whatsoever.

It didn’t even seem like Regina’s all that into sex! Both she and Annie talked about how’d they’d play the same trick on their… er… tricks. Apparently many prostitutes will ask for cash up front, give their client a quick handjob, and then run off before actually having intercourse. Who knew!

And now, on to the quote of the episode. Annie went home to Minnesota to spend some time with her family and shoot guns on her brother Chuck’s property. She introduced the camera crew to a tiny pet squirrel Chuck keeps in a cage and explained its origin:

“Chuck was trying to get rid of the squirrels, but then this one squirrel befriended him, and now he has a heart for squirrels! Isn’t that crazy? It’s kind of like an oxymoron!”

Yes it is, Annie. Chuck’s squirrel story is the jumbo shrimp of oxymorons.

There are certain degrading things that you have to deal with when you live in New York. Like the time I took the tour at Alcatraz only to realized that their inmates had more space than I did in Manhattan at the time. Meanwhile, I had committed no crimes and paid $400 for the privilege to live on 105th Street. Plus, they had sinks in their rooms! And now, The Daily Mail has made us feel the same way once again, with a story about 1,000 people who live in makeshift homes in Las Vegas, carved out of a labyrinth of tunnels underneath the Las Vegas strip.

The article is pretty fascinating, but the first thing that came to mind when we saw the pics? Ooh… Spacious!

Someone call Bombshell McGee — Rachel Uchitel, one of Tiger Woods‘ alleged mistresses is reportedly training for a spot on Dancing With The Stars. A local Las Vegas ballroom dance studio says Rachel has been taking classes, in the hopes of snagging a spot on the ABC reality competition show where tabloid favorites go to ~~die~~ prolong their 15 minutes of fame. Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie headed to Las Vegas on the weekend!! According to x17, the couple were spotted there on August 23rd. Here’s a video of them:

The video was filmed at the Palazzo Casino Resort Hotel on August 23rd. If you watch after about 30 seconds you can see them walking in the lobby – Hilary was wearing a fabulously sexy short dress. Love it!

Apparently, the couple went for dinner at Lavo on Saturday. Lavo is the newest night club at the Palazzo resort that just opened that weekend. Hilary Duff could only go for dinner, but apparently promised to return for her birthday next month when she’ll be legally able to enter the nightclub!
