But instead of announcing his plan on-air and then following through, he made sure to actually reunite them first. The entire cast of the show, which ran from 1992-97, showed up onstage last night. Let’s just say the years have been kind, because most of the actors looked like they hadn’t aged more than two years (definitely not 13!). They didn’t just show up, though — they also performed the theme song. (“Surf dudes with attitude, kinda groovy…”) It was nostalgic and amazing. Just watch:

Milo and Jimmy have good chemistry in the interview, it flows very smoothly. After a couple of minutes of banter, Milo pulls out his iPhone for all his twitter followers suggestions about what to talk about.

After that, Milo talks about Heroes and the “exciting and terrifying” fans that love the show. They talk about Gamer closer to 5 minutes in the interview, saying that his character, Rick Rape, is the “comic relief” in the movie. After that, Milo talks about his USO visits and how he almost fell out of a black hawk.

Anyway, back to the interview… Alexis talks a good deal about the movie, and also her first time meeting Craig Ferguson (which was on David Letterman’s show). Craig definitely started to talk about some random stuff in the interview. At least we learn that Alexis designed her own kitchen! They also talk about literature, including poetry and whether or not boys still read poetry to girls.

Also in the interview: Alexis’ opinion on rodeos (fun, but mean to animals), a story of Alexis being hit by a firework, and a bunch of other random stuff. What an odd interview, but Alexis managed to hold her own.

Alexis will be on the KTLA Morning News on August 12th, on MTV’s It’s On with Alexa Chung on August 20th, on Fuse on August 20th, and later on both E! News and Current TV.

I was unable to receive permission from the photographer (boo) to use the photos here, but you can go over there to check them out! The 80s inspired shoot features Alexis glammed up with teased hair, in a little bodysuit and fishnets, in a leather bustier, and in leather & taffeta outfit. Amazing.

In the interview, Alexis shares that she’s trying to shed her Rory persona:

“I try to get away from the way people see me on the show in little ways, try to dress older or just differently. I try not to wear anything that makes me look too young because that only aggravates the idea that I’m young and sweet like my character on [Gilmore Girls].”

Alexis admits that this shoot was a “fun fantasy day” for her.

Lauren starts off accepting a compliment on her outfit by saying “I’m wearing very short shorts, in honor of my boyfriends, the Jonas Brothers,” who also performed on the show last night. Lauren then shares how upset she is about the new iPhone:

“I had the iPhone, and I feel like it was the worst boyfriend I ever had. Cause it kept losing all my information, and then crashing, then not calling me, then dating other people [laughs]. I don’t know… So, I broke up with the iPhone. Then it’s as if it was that old boyfriend that then starts dressing really well, you know, because of all the stuff you gave him. And then gets all improved and has all these new apps and everybody falls in love with him. But I’m talking about the iPhone, of course, and then he stopped wearing running shoes with jeans. And then… now I want him back.”

Lauren then transitions into talking about The Answer Man and her role in the film. The interview shows us some a clip with Lauren, Jeff Daniels and Olivia Thirlby. Lauren shares how it was to work with Jeff Daniels before then leaving the topic of the movie to talk about more of her past.

Lauren shares a story about being in high school and being given the honor to sing the prom theme song, which was “We’ve Got Tonight, Who Needs Tomorrow” by Kenny Rogers. Jimmy invites Lauren to re-live that memory by singing the duet with him!!

In addition, Lauren Graham will be making an appearance tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon! This will be Lauren’s second appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, her first being in April when she appeared to promote Guys and Dolls.

Gilmore Girls was also mentioned on Wednesday’s Jimmy Fallon, about 12:15 into this video. The reference was in a letter read by a crew member, referencing Lauren’s first visit to the show and talking about how he’d love to work for Luke on Gilmore Girls.

Lauren Graham, as indicated previously, made a second appearance this month on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Halloween night.

Craig & Lauren are so cute together!! They start off the interview with fake British accents and mocking David Beckham. Lauren comes out again with a note that Craig left for her. Lauren then expresses her disapproval of all the “Sexy Something” costumes women get stuck wearing for Halloween. Craig and Lauren have such a good time that Lauren is nearly in tears.

Back to the Halloween theme, Lauren expresses her disappointment in not being able to find a costume for her dog. He’s too big for all the little doggy costumes. The only costume she could find was a lobster.

After seven minutes, the interview gets on topic and Lauren Graham talks about her upcoming Broadway debut for Guys and Dolls. Lauren started out doing musicals, so she’s really happy to be returning to that.
