Lauren Graham's stand-in, Patty Malcolm on "Criminal Minds"

There’s tons of people who go into the production of our favorite tv shows, including stand-ins, actors who resemble the stars who help prepare a show for production. Here’s a definition from trusty Wikipedia:
Stand-ins are helpful in the initial processes of production. Lighting setup can be a slow and tedious process; during this time the actor will often be somewhere else. Stand-ins allow the director of photography to light the set, the camera department to light and focus scenes. The… More »

A Look At Lauren Graham's Failed Sitcom "Let It Go"

Way back at the beginning of the year, Arieanna reported that Lauren Graham had a new sitcom in development with ABC called “Let It Go.” Sadly, that pilot never made it to the schedule and the project was scrapped. As Arienna mentioned, the show featured Lauren as a self-help guru (her mantra is “let it go”)… More »

Was Alex a Distraction from Luke?

Was Alex a Distraction from Luke?

In ‘I Solemnly Swear’, Lorelai meets a new man at her Inn seminar – a man who is there for his own small business venture – opening a coffee place. Alex is his name and he and Lorelai hit it off immediately.

To me, Alex always seemed too perfect for Lorelai. The attraction, the wit, the coffee! It’s almost as if the writers wanted to quickly divert Lorelai’s attention from noticing Luke, now that she finally may be doing that… More »

Lauren Graham’s Little Black Dress At The Artios Awards

Lauren Graham's Little Black Dress At The Artios Awards

Thanks to commenter Martin for reminding me that Lauren Graham (Lorelai on Gilmore Girls) was on two red carpets this week! She was cool and casual at the “2012″ premiere and a bit dressier at the 25th Annual Artios Awards.

I think this dress is a little plain, but as always, she still looks great. My only (small) complaint is her hair. Lauren has such gorgeous black locks; I question the choice to put it up like this. In case… More »

I love her casual look of a pair of skinny jeans, tunic, high heels and a fitted blazer. She looks beautiful, age-appropriate and dare I say, comfortable. What do you think of Lauren’s red-carpet outfit?

Lauren Graham and Craig Ferguson's Puppet Show

Lauren Graham (Lorelai on Gilmore Girls) not only was a guest on last Friday’s Craig Ferguson show, she also acted as Nadine, the puppet girlfriend to Craig’s puppet in a sketch on the show. It’s a funny segment and actually better than their long interview that I posted on Saturday. Which did you prefer, the puppet show or the interview? Part 2 of the puppet show is after the jump!
