Last night on the Dancing With the Stars results show, we got to see Susan Boyle sing her amazing song, I Have a Dream. She was wonderful! Michael Buble also performed a couple of his songs and sounded as great as ever too.

But the down side to the show last night was the fact that anyone had to go home. I’ve been enjoying these final five dancers so much this season. It’s a shame any of them had to leave. Aaron Carter, who for some reason just hasn’t had the audience votes was the one to be eliminated.

I thought it was great that judge Len Goodman actually told Aaron that if he were his son, he’d be very proud of him. How cool is that?

Now we are down to the final four dance pairs for next week’s semi-finals. I’m sure it’s going to be fantastic!

He is so funny. He always wears an amazing amount of very feminine makeup and acts so serious about the whole thing. But almost everything he says comes out sounding clueless. And to make it even funnier, his sidekicks include judge Len Goodman, whom he cuts off in the middle of is sentences nearly every time he tries to talk. And the other sidekick is season 2 great dancer Jerry Rice, wearing crazy makeup and outfit too. The three of them act so seriously when they give their silly, fun commentary, I love it. This week we saw two segments of Dance Center. The first segment is about 3 minutes into this clip.

OK, I’m guilty of saying negative things about Kim Kardashian’s level of passion in her dance moves, but I wasn’t the one that did the most dissing this week! The judges were downright mean to her. The worst was Bruno Tonioli. He told her that her dancing was:

…as cold and as distant as Siberia.

Now THAT’S harsh!

I am not surprised that she went home this week, I was surprised that Ted McGinley went home before her. But that’s no reason to be cruel. She was trying to learn very difficult ways to dance.

In my opinion, dancing should always be about having fun and should always be a positive experience. Not everyone has the same ability to learn the moves or to become great dancers, but to be mean about that is wrong.

Shame on the judges this week for being too critical. It didn’t have to get that bad.

This week’s performances were almost all very, very good for the second week. The judges highly favored both Brooke Burke & Warren Sapp, but I have to admit that one of my favorites was not the same.

Yes, I thought Warren Sapp was fantastic and the routine that he and Kym Johnson did with a “Matrix-esque” feel, was so much fun, But Brooke Burke’s dance just didn’t WOW me this week. (I’m not a huge fan of the paso doble…it’s just not my favorite.)

And here’s my other favorite. It’s the one with Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer. So what of stuffy Len Goodman doesn’t like it? I think it was fantastic!!

Pro dancer, Kym Johnson interviewed Mario & Karina Smirnoff right after their live elimination this week on Dancing With the Stars. Karina is right that Mario was always great at having a good attitude, in spite of what the judges might have said to him each week. He just seems like such a cool guy!! Here’s the interview:
