The Knitting Factory had been a fixture of downtown New York for decades until it closed last year. After much delay, it is finally reopening in Brooklyn, at 361 Metropolitan Ave. in Williamsburg to be exact.
To celebrate their grand opening tomorrow (Wednesday September 9), Les Savy Fav will be playing. It’s all sold out (probably to industry insiders), but the bar will still be open to the public.

Islands Playing NY Magazine Show

New York Magazine has hosted various musical events these past few years like Of Montreal hosting Indie Rock Karaoke and Indie Rock Trivia Night with Les Savy Fav.
