Apparently, Lindsay is expanding to a contemporary apparel line for fall 2010, according to WWD, with more brand extensions set for 2011 that will include cosmetics, handbags and more! (View some of the designs)

On Twitter Tuesday, Lindsay said she needed more Twitter followers for this very reason.

“i need MORE followers i am so sad about this, how can i tell everyone about my 6126 full collection COMING OUT! all clothing.”

Kristi Kaylor from 6126 LLC in Beverly Hills, and Henri Levy of Los Angeles’ DNAM Apparel, which will manufacture the line under license, spoke to WWD about the expansion.

“We’ve had amazing success with the leggings line,” Kaylor told WWD. “We have a great business with Neiman Marcus and several hundred great specialty stores. [DNAM Apparel] was the perfect partner to work with 6126 and grow it as a lifestyle brand. We’re launching the full clothing collection next year, and a cosmetics line, handbags, shoes, jewelry in spring 2011.”

The fall 2010 apparel line will include 100 pieces with the spring 2011 line expected to have 150 pieces. Prices will wholesale ranging from $18 for basic leggings to $300 for a leather jacket, WWD said. Average retail price points will fall between $100 and $150. The 6126 leggings currently retail from $68 to $120, WWD said.

“It’ll be a young contemporary price point with contemporary styling,” Kaylor told WWD. “We’re conscious of it in the sense that we have great price points and quality products. The vision is to offer customers something that they don’t have in the marketplace today, items that go back with leggings: blazers, dresses and tops.”

The line will retail at places such as Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and specialty stores nationwide, plus Harrods, Lane Crawford, Kitson Japan and Isetan internationally, WWD reported.

Kaylor estimated sales of $3 million a year for the leggings, while Levy estimated the clothing collection’s sales will be $10 million wholesale in the first 12 months, WWD said.

According to WWD, Lindsay filmed an episode of Bravo’s Double Exposure, set to air in January, as a way to advertise the new expansion. Two photographers featured on the show covered her shooting 6126’s spring 2010 campaign. Some of the photos will be used to launch the apparel line.

Kaylor told WWD that Lindsay is a “hands-on partner” working with designers in her apartment earlier this month and throwing a working lunch for the design team at E. Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills.

“She’s not a celebrity who lends her name to a brand,” Kaylord told WWD. “She’s intimately involved from Day One. She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything go into production without trying it on.”

My reaction? Lindsay has been planning this for a while it seems and I’m pretty excited that the news is coming out now! Now things are beginning to make sense – her Twitter comment, the lunch at E. Baldi’s, etc. I’m curious to see Lindsay on Double Exposure.

“I’m thrilled. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such an amazing team of people and collection. And it’s only going to get better, better and better,” Lindsay said during a press interview.

When questioned about what she thinks about those who say she doesn’t have the experience to do the job, Lindsay says everyone is entitled to their opinion.

“They probably will but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But Estrella and I are doing great things, so that’s all that matters,” Lindsay said.

I’ve seen some people say that Lindsay is on a “stripper pole” in this photo. I wouldn’t go that far. It’s a sexy photo, but it’s not a stripper pole.

A new rumor has emerged today regarding Lindsay — this one is that Lindsay tried to steal Mischa Barton’s role on The Beautiful Life, a show which was just canceled after two episodes by The CW. This would have been right before shooting for the show started, when Barton had a “breakdown” when the source claims Lindsay contacted the show’s producers to say she was available if Mischa wasn’t. However, I doubt this story mainly because its from the National Enquirer, and because I doubt being on a TV series full time right now would have interested Lindsay.

Lindsay Lohan at the Vogue party in Paris

Lindsay’s very-thin blue dress has a snag and it shows up pretty easily in these sets of photos. Of course, we’ve all been there, huh? Maybe it was from a long day of shopping.

Lindsay had spent the day shopping in Paris with her sister Ali Lohan and friends. They also shopped at Prada.

Earlier in the day while shopping, Lindsay’s dress was fine. Lindsay wore a black leather jacket over the see-through dress, accessorized with fishnet stockings and black designer studded boots. Though she has her hair up now, she was wearing her hair down with a wire-looking accessory.
