Lindsay Lohan Might Play Elizabeth Taylor In A Lifetime Movie

If there was ever a celebrity life just asking for a Lifetime movie, it’s Elizabeth Taylor’s. The channel broadcasting television for woman is currently working on a flick to capture at least part of her crazy life titled Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, and they’re reports Lifetime is looking at Lindsay Lohan to play Taylor.

This could be a good career move for Lindsay for a couple reasons. First, staring in a Lifetime movie is a kind of right of passage for young actresses she skipped. She’s a little too old to play the classic teenage mom like Kirsten Dunst or Keri Russell, but she can still get the Lifetime stamp on her resume.

It also might be a good idea to distance herself from her Marilyn Monroe obsession, which is now tied to her Playboy shoot and the overall dip in her career. Portraying another incredibly famous actress could be a literal and symbolic turning point.

What you keep in your purse can be very personal and very revealing. Maybe you keep a well-worn book in your bag like Rory Gilmore, maybe you need to throw in a lipstick, gloss, and stain so your lips will be prepared for any situation, maybe you keep some dry shampoo, face wash, and brush as a kind of pre-walk of shame primp kit. So what can we learn from Lindsay Lohan’s stolen purse said to have been carrying her passport, probation papers,and $10,000 in cash?

Lindsay was at a party while vacationing in Hawaii when her purse was snatched, bringing its contents to the attention of the general public. I guess it makes sense she’d want to keep her probation papers on hand since she’s had so many issues following the rules of her probation, and it’s not that uncommon for travelers to want to keep their passport with them at all times (although that’s normally when they’re outside their home country). But what possible reason could she have for carrying ten grand? A fear of debt cards? Plans to visit the 24-hour Tiffany’s?

What’s more telling about the purse inventory is what it’s missing. She’s since recovered the purse with the passport and papers, sans $10,000 and doesn’t seem too upset. But was there anything else in her bag she was glad to get back, like a ticket stub from The Parent Trap, or self-help book entitled Becoming Marilyn Monroe? Right now the picture Lindsay’s purse paints is that of someone who’s afraid to lose paperwork and doesn’t know how to handle her cash. There’s got to be more to her than that.

The moment you’ve been eagerly waiting for: Lindsay Lohan‘s Playboy spread has leaked online, a week before she was set to reveal it on Ellen. Not surprisingly, the magazine’s execs are “freaking out” since they paid her $1 million and printed several thousand extra copies expecting everyone would run to the newsstands next week. But why do that when you can look at them on your computer? (Until someone tells us to take them down, of course.)

They’re definitely NSFW ’cause of her strangely tiny nipples, but they’re also… tamer than we expected. LiLo definitely channels Marilyn Monroe, but we might’ve wanted more glitz. And we do miss her natural red hair. But! Judge for yourself if the shoot were worth a million dollars.

UPDATE: Playboy’s lawyer requested the images from Lindsay’s spread be removed, so you’ll have to go back to Google to find them now.

Star magazine and RadarOnline are reporting that they’ve gotten their mitts on Lindsay Lohan‘s private diary and that it reveals that Linds was madly in love with dearly departed star Heath Ledger. Whether they were actually physically involved is unclear, but the January 22, 2008 entry from a 21-year-old Lindsay reads (in pink pen, natch):

Today Heath died. I’m in love with him…. He was the love of my life. He taught me so much, and he was everything I’ve ever wanted and more.

I want to hear him laugh and hold me. I crave his touch and care.

When a person dies the world stops. I’m numb.

Now, “obtained” could mean anything from a resourceful paparazzo sneaking into Lindsay’s home, to Dina Lohan turning over her daughter’s pink-penned ramblings for the press to feast on. But let’s assume it’s real.

Star goes on to say that Lindsay and Heath were so close that she had plans to visit him in New York City just a few days after his death. Indeed, the world did notice Lindsay grieving (see the photo) but didn’t think much of it in light of the grief of Heath’s ex-girlfriend (and mother of his child) Michelle Williams. Ironically, there was some surprise about who he had been seeing at the time of his death, but that was Mary-Kate Olsen.

That said, the rumors definitely existed. Back in 2007, an Australian magazine claimed that Lindsay and Heath had a “purely physical” friends-with-benefits deal going on. However, sites like Technorati pointed out that the only “relationship” the two might have had was the notoriously hard-partying Lindsay supplying Heath with drugs.

Astonishingly, the person this most lends credence to is Michael Lohan. Back in 2008, he was shopping around recorded phone conversations with Dina, which alleged a romantic and dangerous mentor-mentee relationship between Heath and their daughter. RadarOnline (no surprise) published a transcript of one call in which Dina lays out her fears:

Because when she’s drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking. And she was dating Heath when he died. I don’t know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok? So that fucked her up.

Perez Hilton makes an observation that fills in another puzzle piece: Why LiLo was so angry when Michelle Williams nabbed the role of Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn. Not only did Michelle get to be the love of Heath’s life, but she also played Lindsay’s idol. Them’s the breaks, kid.

Courtney Love Says She’s LiLo’s Sobriety Coach

In the latest issue of Details Magazine, the dubiously sober Courtney Love claims to have the unenviable task of being Lindsay Lohan‘s “sobriety coach.” Ever the magnanimous individual, Love tells Details, “I’ve taken up Lohan because nobody else will. She’s further down the line than I was, because there was no TMZ then.”

Is C-Love trying to blame LiLo’s constant tabloid coverage (which she courts) for her problems with drug abuse? Because that sounds like kind of a cop out. Not to mention, having Courtney Love as a sobriety coach sounds a little like having Cookie Monster as a not-eating-cookies coach. Regardless, it wouldn’t be the first time Courtney had positioned herself as the default mother hen of celebrities with drug problems. In an interview with The Fix last spring, she had this to say:

…It wasn’t that long ago when Kim Stewart was screaming, “Courtney, what are we going to do? Kelly Osbourne is blue on the floor!” Kelly wasn’t doing that well back then. For some reason, Kim Stewart also called me when Paris Hilton got pulled over for her last D.U.I. And Lindsay Lohan called me after she was arrested. The judge presiding over her case was the same judge who presided over mine. He was a very sweet man. I think he was an ex-alcoholic himself. I told Lindsay to just get it together and trust the judge, and Lindsay’s father called me for advice every day. I’m not even that friendly with these girls. What am I, a junkie Auntie Mame?

Heidi Fleiss is probably not the first person to relate Lindsay Lohan to a lady of the night, but she’s certainly the first whose comparison holds some weight. After all, Heidi is the famous “Hollywood Madam,” who ran a successful prostitution ring in Los Angeles til the LAPD wiretapped and shut her down in 1993. In an interview with HLN’s Showbiz Tonight this weekend, she said that she wished she had had LiLo working for her because apparently people will pay well for a coked out former child star.

This great quote came about when the interviewer asked Heidi her thoughts on Lindsay’s struggle for sobriety — Heidi herself appeared on one season of Celebrity Rehab – and the actress’ recent Playboy spread. Heidi thinks there’s no shame in shooting photos like this if you’re hard up for money, as Lindsay likely is. “She’s hot; she would’ve made a great hooker,” she said. “I could’ve made millions off her. I think Lindsay’s so hot; I could make big money off her.”

This is where we beg to differ. Maybe Lindsay of the Mean Girls era, when her hair color, weight, and personality were all natural. I don’t doubt that nowadays guys would have sex with her just to say they did, but more likely if they met her at a party; I can’t imagine someone paying money to sleep with her.
