Ugly Betty is making a lot of fashion statements this upcoming season, with a whole new strategy on incorporating it into the show. Lindsay Lohan in SoHo
Lindsay Lohan and some friends spent part of September 4th out shopping in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Lindsay shopped for jewelry and clothes. She was spotted at the People’s Revolution and at Dean & Deluca, and had lunch at Katz’s Deli. At one point, Lindsay got a text message (reportedly from Samantha Ronson) that she showed her friends, all of them smiling and laughing.

Samantha Ronson in Sydney
Samantha Ronson flew alone from New York out to Sydney, Australia to DJ at the Zeta Bar and it sounds like she is already missing Lindsay (and Lindsay missing Sam too!). In cute communications across MySpace, Samantha Ronson announces landing in Sydney and wanting to “see someone I am missing who I must say posted a very good blog while I was flying” (referring to Lindsay’s post on Sarah Palin). Lindsay Lohan Shopping in SoHo

Lindsay Lohan reportedly did not attend to the wake held for her grandfather. Instead, she was seen out shopping in Soho, New York (photo above). According to the NY Daily News, Cody Lohan did attend the funeral, but Ali did not.

Lindsay Lohan in Atlantic City
According to Lindsay Lohan’s Myspace blog, she spent the weekend in New York. She mentions driving on Long Island with her friend Brittany on Saturday (and recommends the song “Walking On Broken Glass” by Annie Lennox). However, later that day, Lindsay & Samantha Ronson headed to New Jersey where Sam had a DJ gig.

Lindsay Lohan’s Grandfather Dies
Richard Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s paternal grandfather (Michael Lohan’s father) has passed away. This sad news comes close on the heels of the feud between Lindsay & Michael went public.
Lindsay Lohan’s grandfather has been in a Long Island hospital with a terminal case of colon cancer for some time. Michael Lohan announced the death of his father via OK Magazine (that should tell you something).
