According to Hollywood Life, it is true – Lindsay’s character April will be wet and topless in the Robert Rodriguez’ movie because they have allegedly read the script.

“HollywoodLife.com got a hold of the original Machete script, and as of now, Lindsay – who has about 10 minutes of screen time as gun-toting socialite April Benz – is slated to get wet and naked while swimming in a waterfall with Alicia Rachel Marek, 34, who plays her mother, June,” according to Hollywood Life.

But is it true? The story hasn’t been confirmed by Lindsay or anyone associated with the movie.

Either way, we don’t have too much longer to wait to find out for ourselves. Machete is set for release on April 16.

Most of us are just happy to see her return to the big screen.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the interested studios got a sneak-peek of 15 to 30 minutes of footage along with a proposal which included money talks, guarantee of a wide release and a backend for Rodriguez.

Lindsay Lohan has a role in the movie as April, described as a “socialite with a penchant for guns.”

Lindsay traveled to Austin in mid-September to film scenes for Machete.

Here’s a Mean Girls fan video I found featuring the song “Scandalous” (don’t let the video picture trick you).

I think the YouTube user Sammie392 does a great job showing each girl’s character in the movie, how “scandalous” they are, and how Lindsay’s character turns into a “mean” girl.

According to her Twitter account, Lindsay left Long Island late Thursday night, taking a flight out after spending Thanksgiving with her family. No new photos yet, though.

According to PopCrunch, Lindsay was in talks to play a character loosely based on herself in this romantic comedy. The story even had information about the movie producers.

The role, according to PopCrunch’s story is “of a scandal-ridden former child star who goes to rehab and revamps her career by appearing on a reality dating show.”

Lohan told Gossip Cop on Friday that she hasn’t heard a thing about the movie.

When I saw the movie story pop up a few days ago, I searched for information and never could find a reliable source to verify the movie rumor. Thank you Gossip Cop for finding the truth.

CBS Films has optioned the body-switching novel Freaky Monday from Heather Hach, who co-wrote the book with Mary Rodgers, author of the 1973 novel Freaky Friday, according to Variety.

But this movie would not be a mother-daughter switch — it would be a teen girl and her teacher switching in this version.

Freaky Monday is about a smart but insecure girl who switches bodies with her sympathetic junior high English teacher for a day.

Lindsay Lohan starred in the 2003 Disney remake along with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I don’t know if Lindsay would play a part in this movie, unless it’s a cameo role of some sort.

BuzzSugar.com is asking readers to cast the movie, suggesting Tina Fey possibly as the teacher and Selena Gomez as the student. Not bad. Who do you think would be good for this movie? Should Lindsay have a part?

Machete is the feature-length version of the  fake trailer by Robert Rodriguez that originally appeared in Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse.

Machete will star Danny Trejo as Machete, a renegade former Mexican Federale who attempts to assassinate McLaughlin (Robert De Niro), a corrupt senator, but then gets shot himself. Although hurt, he goes on the run after Benz (Jeff Fahey), the one who double-crossed him; this is when the “brutal rampage of revenge” takes place.

Lindsay Lohan  has a small role in the movie as April, described s a “socialite with a penchant for guns.”   Lindsay traveled to Austin for two days in mid-September to film scenes for Machete.

Others in the movie include Michelle Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Jesica Aba Rose McGowan, Steven Seagal and Don Johnson.

Sony recently purchased the distribution rights to the movie.

Lohan is hosting the F1 Rocks Sinagpore with LG music event which includes three nights of concerts featuring Beyoncé, ZZ Top and No Doubt as well as international artists such as Chinese pop legend Jacky Cheung and Taiwanese pop diva A-MEI, among others.

“I think it’s really nice to be part of something that it’s the first year they are doing it – which is F1 Rocks,” Lindsay said during the interview. “”It’s a bunch of amazing performers whom I’m a really big fan of….”

Lohan said studying NASCAR for a year while preparing for the 2005 movie Herbie: Fully Loaded has made her a racing fan.

“I studied NASCAR for a while, almost a year when I was doing Herbie the love bug, so I had to learn all of the details. It was very hot inside those cars, but it was a lot of fun,” Lindsay said.

Lindsay also discussed Machete, the movie she just finished filming in Austin a few days ago.

“It was a really great experience. It’s a really great cast. I’ve never gotten to shoot a gun in a film or ever in personal life. I was really scared but it was really exhilarating — but not in the best way. It was scary but it was nice to do something new in a film.”

About life, Lindsay explained her philosophy:

“I think you should live life to fullest and you learn from your mistakes and I think it’s really important to experience life in every different way and anyone can alter anything,” Lindsay said.

According to the Huffington Post, Lindsay also had a response to questions about the suspect who is accused of breaking into her home last month.

“I don’t really want to get into the details of that,” Lohan said. “That’s for the detectives to do.”

Lindsay stepped in the hosting role after Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger pulled out a few days ago.

The deal was announced Monday by Sony and Hyde Park Entertainment.

Sony worked with Rodriguez on El Mariachi, Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, according to Variety.
