Brad Pitt’s big art purchase
Recently we learned that Brad Pitt had flown into Switzerland to check out some art. It also became known that he made a purchase while he was there, adding to his personal art collection.
The piece that Brad purchased is called “Etappe” which is an oil painting on canvas by Neo Rauch. You can see the painting over here. It sold for a little less than $1 million US.

Brad and Angie are renters, not buyers
As many of you speculated in the comments, it turns out that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did not actually purchase the chateau in the South of France – rather, they are renting it on a long term lease for the next three years. We’ve been hearing for awhile that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been planning to buy a home in France but it was always waved off as rumors since they never actually did. However, before Cannes, we did see Brad and Angelina leaving on a helicopter ride with an unknown man, and there was speculation that it might be a real estate agent showing them some homes.

There are always rumors about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie every time you turn around. As we well know, not all of them are nice rumors either. But this is the kind of “maybe it’s true, maybe it’s not” story that I like.

The Gossip Girls site has posted an entry with some aerial shots of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s temporary home in Texas. It appears to be a large property and the house is huge. A Czech paper is reporting that this is the private villa that is temporarily home to Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the Jolie-Pitt kids while the family stays in Prague.

Is anyone else thinking, “Here we go again!?”
Brad and Angelina are REPORTEDLY getting close to a multibazillion dollar deal on the Somerford Keynes estate in Cotswald. I hope they don’t move out of the U.S., but can hardly blame them for wanting to. I watch some of these videos and wonder how on earth they can stand all the paps.

BAMZS are home in Malibu again!
Something just feels good about having them home again. No fabulous pictures have surfaced yet (that I have run across yet, anyhow – I have only just begun catching up from the weekend), but here are a couple of the kids in Malibu (with Angelina’s assistant) – and Zahara standing up on her own, which is something that really hasn’t been seen (although we know it is time). According to ExtraTV.com, this is what is going to happen:
After spending three days at the Cottage Hospital, Team Jolie-Pitt is back at their luxury beachfront lodge, where they plan to spend two more weeks. Sources tell “Extra” they may then make a Pitt stop in Paris before returning to Brad’s $9 million Malibu mansion.

Apparently he is wanting to join the winemakers by buying a vineyard in Italy:

Sale of Chateau Gabriel to Brad and Angelina is a hoax!
Straight from the realtor’s mouth (and via my anonymous source), Brad and Angelina have not purchased, nor have they put in escrow or even bid upon the gorgeous estate, Chateau Gabriel, as has been reported by many outlets.
