Radio host walking from Florida to New Orleans for Make It Right!
You may not know the name Paul Leslie yet, but you should. With Brad Pitt leading the way to rebuild New Orleans with Make It Right, Paul is raising awareness and funds for MIR in his own way.
He’s walking from Panama City, Florida to New Orleans, Louisiana. Yes, walking. Paul is making the more than 300-mile journey to help Make It Right continue to help Hurricane Katrina victims.

Make It Right wants you to go green
Brad Pitt and Make It Right have already done so much to help the people of New Orleans and MIR is now trying to help others be as green as they can be on top of that.

Make It Right unveils floating house in New Orleans
Brad Pitt must be so proud of the newest building to be unveiled in New Orleans through Make It Right. The new house actually floats in case of flooding. It’s incredible!

Both Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton were on hand at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York to discuss the current status of New Orleans compared to when it was first hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Brad Pitt to attend the Clinton Global Initiative
While we did see Brad Pitt in Spain for the San Sebastian premiere of Inglourious Basterds, only Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth were available for the Italian premiere this week.

Awhile back we had a discussion about what we thought of the rumors of Brad Pitt running for mayor of New Orleans and Angelina Jolie running for president. We all knew the stories weren’t true but it was fun to read everyone’s opinions. While Angelina Jolie was busy running around Washington, D.C., our man Brad Pitt put on his good suit and headed to Capitol Hill.
Brad was attending a meeting with Nancy Pelosi to discuss the ongoing situation regarding lost housing in New Orleans and the current status of his Make It Right project.

Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Helps Build First Home!
Less than one year after announcing the start-up of Brad Pitt’s Make It Right campaign in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward the first Global Green house has been built. That is awesome! It’s the first post-Katrina home to go up in the area and was made with environmentally sustainable materials. This first house will also serve as a model home and visitors’ center while the other homes are being built.
