Of the many concerts last night, I ended up at the Amadou & Mariam show at Webster Hall. I’ve been wanting to see this duo for a long time, and was really excited to finally witness their awesome live show. Amadou & Mariam are a couple from Mali, Africa that happen to be blind. Toubab Krewe Record Release
Toubab Krewe blend African rhythms with rock and put on an incredible live show. They are releasing an album, Live at the Orange Peel, on January 6 chronicling one of those shows and will be celebrating the release at S.O.B.s on Thursday, January 8.
