Mary-Kate and Ashley celebrated the official launch of Olsenboye with a party at Norwood in New York City on Wednesday night. Friends and fashion insiders including Teen Vogue’s Amy Astley, Kate Coultas, Jane Siskin, Liz Sweeny and more!

Mary-Kate & Ashley Launching Denim Line
Mary-Kate and Ashley are branching out. Elizabeth and James, their contemporary line, is now going to include a denim line. The cool twist? All the pairs of jeans designed for the line are going to be inspired by jeans in MK and Ashley’s own closets–dating as far back as high school!

Design for Olsenboye!
Mary-Kate and Ashley have launched a design contest for their new juniors line, Olsenboye! Aspiring fashion designers between 13 and 21 are encouraged to submit an original clothing design. Olsen fans have the chance to choose the winner when the semifinalists’ designs will be shown to the world.
The lucky winner will see their design included in a future Olsenboye collection, be flown to New York to meet Mary-Kate and Ashley and received a $1,000 shopping spree at JCPenney.

Mary-Kate & Ashley Launch The Row’s Website
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen finally got around to launching the Row’s official website. The site went live earlier today and features look books for all their collections, a news section, a mission statement and a shop feature that should be updated soon!
The website design is dark and simple. However it’s flash-based, which is unnecessary and cane be annoying. I’m just glad that the Row is finally becoming more accessible to everyone. It’s been such an elusive and private line.

The Row to Show at New York Fashion Week
Mary-Kate and Ashley are headed to the tents! WWD announced this morning that the Row, Mary-Kate and Ashley’s luxury label, will have an official presentation at New York Fashion week next month.
Time and date have yet to be confirmed, but Ashley told WWD that she and MK were pleased “to have our first presentation in New York.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley really stepped up their shoe designs for the Elizabeth and James Spring 2010 collection. Colorful flats mix with sky high wedges, tribal inspired sandals and new takes on the gladiator trend. Ashley Olsen looked adorable when she went out for a run yesterday with boyfriend Justin Bartha! Her workout gear left a lot to be desired, but she managed to make it work! I wonder what she wears to yoga!
On Ashley’s feet were fairly worn Nike Air Pegasus+ 2007 Trainers.
