When asked what trends they want to disappear, they had this to say:

Mary-Kate: Never say never. I really think that. But I’m so crazy. I can look at something right now and say one thing about it. I’ll go home, not be able to sleep, and have a completely different perspective in the morning.

Ashley: Fashion depends on the person. If you’re comfortable in it and feel good in it, that’s what people notice. For me, I just love beautiful things.

The ladies chatted with Style.com about launching the website, choosing the design team to create it, the philosophy behind it and more.

They really wanted a simple and sophisticated website, as MK tells Style.com:

We looked at a lot of different Web sites before we started working on our own, and we thought most of them were too loud. We wanted The Row Web site to be subdued and very direct. I think that has been a philosophy behind The Row ever since we started the line

Mary-Kate says Kendra is a “witch-type” but everything she does is for the good. She’s a strong woman and knows what she wants.

Vanessa says filming the movie is a blast and that Mary-Kate is very sweet. MK has lots of nice things to say about Vanessa and Alex, calling them both great actors.

Beastly will premiere on July 30, 2010. Can you handle the year-long wait?

I find MK is a lot better at the late night bit than Ashley. She seemed a lot more comfortable on Conan than Ashley did on Letterman.

This is the second time MK has been on Conan. She visited once last September to promote Weeds.

They talk about the book a lot, which is new and exciting!

What did you think? They covered a lot of the same ground they do in other interviews, but some of it was new and exciting. It was a bit annoying how Oprah kept cutting them off and answering for them, but that’s just Oprah!
