‘Rocky Horror’ Gleek of the Week: Mercedes As Frankenfurter
TMI Confession time: When I was in elementary school, my favorite movie was the Rocky Horror Picture Show. To this day, I still don’t know why my parents thought it was an appropriate movie to show a 6-year-old; I do know that a bunch of kids weren’t allowed back over to my house after their parents found them reenacting some of the more risque scenes with me out in my backyard.
So, much like Sue Sylvester, I came into Glee‘s Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute with some reservations. Yes, the “It’s not okay kids!” excuse served as a thinly veiled metaphor for the GQ photo controversy of Lea Michele and co. last week, but more than that, my memories of Tim Curry in drag have been tarnished by years of therapy and the realization that, well, the show isn’t all that great.
That being said: campy songs and faux-transvestites are what drives Fox’s sing-along to begin with, and I can’t think of a musical that toes the uneasy line between teenage fun and adult sexuality better than Rocky Horror. Gleek Of the Week: Eriz Stoltz, FTW!
Last night’s episode of Glee was directed by Eric Stoltz, who many of you know as “that guy who plays a creepy teacher in every movie, and also had that messed up face in Mask.” Eric is having an awesome comeback week, thanks to some recovered archived footage of the Pulp Fiction actor playing Marty McFly in Back to the Future. Who knew, right? Also, who knew he could direct such an awesome episode of Glee that would include a Brittany/Santana make-out session, Rachel giving up her bitchitude for half a second, and that bass-mouth kid coming back into the story line? Gleek of the Week: Kurt’s Dad In A Coma We Know
Last night on Glee, the New Directions Glee Club found Jesus. Well, at least Finn did. Jesus appeared to the football player in a grilled cheese sandwich (timely!). But before he could steal the episode with his misunderstandings of Christianity, Kurt’s dad gave him a leg up in the rankings – by having a heart attack. Or maybe a stroke. Or an aneurysm. Whatever combination of ailments can put a dude in a coma for long enough for a group of enthusiastic high school students to sing a medley of songs inspired by his unfortunate tragedy.
It’s hard to say who wins when the entire Glee Club is elbowing each other to find the most emotive and spiritual song. But we do have a winner: More »
Britney Spears in a Car Accident
Britney Spears got in a car accident Saturday night (around 8:30 pm) while in traffic on the 101 Freeway today around 8:30pm.
Britney was driving her white 2008 Mercedes SL convertible, with her bodyguard in the passenger seat. Brit was driving at an average speed, but didn’t stop quickly enough when the car ahead of her broke for traffic. She ran into a 2006 Nissan Z350 which continued into the car in front of it.

Britney’s Car Impounded after a Flat Tire
Last night while driving the streets of L.A. and Britney got a flat tire. So she pulled into the right lane parked the car and quickly hopped in with a photographer who was tailgating her…

Britney Lashes at Photogs – Be the Judge
This scene took place yesterday (Sunday) as Britney headed out to the local Starbucks. Upon entering the store, bet bodyguard requested from the photogs over and over again to wait outside. They obviously laughed and kept surrounding her. Upon leaving, you can clearly hear one of the photogs running into the car / smacking the camera into the car / kicking the car and Brit’s response was telling the guy “don’t touch my f–king car!”…

A Lonely Night
After the great dissapointment during the day, yesterday, Britney called an old pal (and mate doe a minute), music producer, J.R.Rotem for a mellow evening out. They started the evening at Casa Escobar, a Mexican restaurant (she had quasadillas) and then went to Malibu Cinemas hoping to see The Heartbreak Kid which only opened today. After realizing it was only Thursday the two headed to Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica.

Britney Goes Out
Britney Spears enjoyed Saturday night with both babies at KFed’s. She spent some time at KOI and moved to the Tropicana Bar in Hollywood. Apparently, KFed had the kids while he was out of town for the shooting of One Tree Hill, wierd choice on the behalf of the one who tries to create the “perfect dad” image.

Britney Spears Pulled Over for Speeding
After spending an evening at the recording studio last night and joined by some of her backup dancers, Britney was pulled over for speeding around 12:30 while heading west on freeway 10 in the downtown area of L.A. According to sources, Britney was cooperative with the cops did get flustered for some reason and the rest of the way home was driven by one of the guys.

After a long day yesterday Britney sort of lost it at a photographer a SplashNews photographer.
