Jamie Kennedy and Jennifer Love Hewitt have broken up. I completely agree with this decision, especially after Jamie’s appearance at a Nickelodeon event last week wherein he creepily advised tweens in the audience to “put a little powder-fresh on your armpits — it works for me.” No, Jamie, it did not work for you and your Vajazzled girlfriend. Someone else will have to follow a trail of rhinestones into Jennifer’s heart. (Dlisted)

American Celebs Support Canada At Olympics

Today’s Controversy Of The Day was sparked by Lainey Gossip, a blogger we love, who is covering the celebrity scene at the Olympics.

Dear American celebrities in Vancouver,

We know you’re having fun at the Olympics and all, and the Vancouver gift suites are totally hooking you up, but news flash: You aren’t Canadian. Take off that admittedly slick-looking jacket, you traitor! Who cares if the Canadians are welcoming hosts, plying you with warm beverages and maple-flavored treats (this is what we imagine Canadians eat), giving you directions, saying “eh,” and being overall a warm, congenial people. Everybody’s patriotic around Olympics time, and you, sirs, are repping the wrong country.

Think you can fly under the radar? We see you, Glee stars. Corey Monteith gets a pass because he is, in fact, from the Great White North. But Mark Salling, take off that Canada jacket. You’re from Texas. Ditto to you, Kevin McHale.

Jon Hamm, you might be showing support for your Canadian prisoner buddy Michael Buble, but you’re from St. Louis. You should be wearing red, white, and blue, not just red and white. (Though thank you for not wearing your Canada swag at the USA-Canada men’s hockey game. That would just be unforgivable.)

So shape up, traitors, and start supporting your country (for the rest of the Olympics, anyway).

AHHHHH!! I love Jennifer Hudson so much! She had a Christmas special on last night on ABC and totally crushed it. She is AMAZING. Plus, she made my night singing with mah boo Michael Buble, who basically is the reincarnation of Frank Sinatra, but without all the pesky Mafia connections.
