Dina Lohan, Michael Lohan face off in court for child support issue

Lindsay Lohan’s parents Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan faced off in court Tuesday in Nassau County Family Court on Tuesday over child-support issues for the Lohan’s younger children, Ali and Cody.

“It’s almost been a year without child support,” Dina Lohan said after the closed court meeting, according to New York Daily News.

According to TMZ, Michael Lohan owes around $15,000 in child support.

“I just want him to do the right thing. I just want him to take care of his kids,” Dina Lohan said, according to NYDN. “This isn’t about us. It’s about his children.”

“No one wants a war,” she continued. “I don’t want to be here more than anyone else in this building. It’s a very sad place.”

According to Michael Lohan’s lawyer John Pedranghelu, he plans to pay what he owes and get back on track. He is due back in court on March 24.

In this TMZ video, Michael Lohan says he knows why he married Dina, because she’s sensible, and they were amicably able to work out the details. Apparently, what she thought he owed and what he actually owes are two different things, according to him.

I’m sure Dina Lohan just wants Michael Lohan to “show me the money.”

Michael Lohan in court over holidays for back child support

Merry Christmas, Michael Lohan! You are behind on your child support!

According to New York Daily Post, Lindsay Lohan’s dad and ex-wife Dina Lohan were in court a few days before Christmas over Michael Lohan’s child support delinquency. Dina Lohan alleges that he owes $40,000 in back child support.

“It is sad that the day before Christmas Eve, I was back in court with Michael over child support. He claims he’s broke and can’t pay — yet he drives around in a Mercedes and has a house in the Hamptons. He got paid for selling tape recordings of private conversations relating to Lindsay, but he won’t pay for his children, ” Dina Lohan reportedly told the New York Post.

Regardless, Dina Lohan is not letting her ex-husband ruin the holidays.

“A lot has happened, but we’ll end the year on a positive note. We always have a big celebration, we always invite all manner of strays and friends to join in,” Dina Lohan reportedly told the New York Post.

We already knew that Michael Lohan was behind on his child support he owes to his ex-wife Dina Lohan for Lindsay Lohan’s siblings Ali, Cody and Michael Jr.

According to TMZ, Michael Lohan owes his ex-wife $15,000 in back child support.

But the big question is has he been making money for releasing audio tapes relating to Lindsay, and if so, will he use that money to pay off his family commitments? I guess only Michael Lohan knows for sure.

Dina Lohan speaks out against Michael Lohan

Dina Lohan spoke out in daughter Lindsay Lohan’s defense Sunday to the New York Post about Michael Lohan’s recent ranting.

Not only does Dina say Lindsay is applying for a restraining order against her father, Dina says she is ready to send her ex-husband to jail for nonpayment of child support (for the past six months) for her other children, she told the New York Post. She plans to file a violation order and if he doesn’t pay up, he could go to jail.

“He’s getting a cease-and-desist letter [from us], so that’s not going to happen. If it’s something personal about your child, you don’t go public with it,” she told New York Post’s Page Six. “He is hurting Lindsay. It breaks my heart. She’s like, ‘Mommy, when is he ever going to stop?’ ” Dina said.

Dina says he should have the money to pay the child support because he is getting paid by the shows he is going on to talk about Lindsay.

“He’s getting paid for these shows he’s doing talking about Lindsay,” Dina told the New York Post. “He’s flying all over the country and not paying for his other three children he’s hurting every time he goes on television.”

And Lindsay is not the only one who may get a restraining order against Michael Lohan.

“It is horrific that a father could do this. We are afraid he’s spiraling out of control. [Daughter] Ali is scared and will be getting an order of protection. Lindsay is getting an order in California and in New York,” she told the New York Post. “He’s desperate, he’s running out of options because none of his children is talking to him. Doors are closing for him, and he’s getting a little nervous, which makes us nervous. We’re scared.”

Dina Lohan to Michael Lohan: Stop discussing Lindsay publically

Dina Lohan finally lashed back at ex-hubby Michael Lohan Saturday for his recent comments on national television and to the tabloids about their daughter Lindsay Lohan.

Dina Lohan’s message was clear: Stop discussing Lindsay’s private life.

“Michael Lohan needs to focus on being a parent, paying child support, of which he is six months behind, and making up for all the years he was an absentee dad. And stop going on national television talking about his children publicly,” Dina Lohan told People.

I can’t blame Dina Lohan. Enough is enough. Earlier today, Michael Lohan talked to X17online.com

“I’m going to see the judge this week…If I can’t get a conservatorship, then I’m going to take her to an undisclosed location and get her straight. But I know I’m gonna get charged [with] kidnapping,” he told X17Online.com

On the Maury show Thursday, Michael Lohan directed a message to Lindsay:

“I’m gonna do anything and everything I have to save your life, whether mom likes it, the public likes it, or anyone,” Michael Lohan said during the interview.

Meanwhile, People said a source says Lindsay is planning to turn to the courts herself to get a restraining order against her dad.

Really, the man has went too far. When will he get the message? Going to national TV and tabloids will only draw a larger wedge between Lindsay and her father.
