There are so many videos out right now of Britney Spears performing on her Circus tour, but sometimes it’s fun to rewind and look at what came before all of this.

Check out this adorable video of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake performing together as part of the Mickey Mouse Club. It’s so cute!

I have to say though, my goodness did Britney’s dance skills ever evolve over the years!

Here’s a Friday Flashback that *really* flashes back. Take a moment to enjoy the early days of Britney Spears’ musical career as she sings “I’m Gonna Get You” with the other Mickey Mouse Club kids – including Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake!

Seriously, this is what I love about the Internet – I never watched the Mickey Mouse Club because I didn’t get that channel (those were the days before satellite boxes that could pick up 900 different channels!), so it’s really cool to be able to go to YouTube and find an old video clip of Britney Spears from her Mickey Mouse Club days!

Christina Aguilera, a long tima rival and friend of Britney gave an interview to GLAMOUR recently in qhich she was asked about Britney Spears and whats been happening with her in the past year. Here is some of her responses:

Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears back in the Mickey Mouse days.

On the way Britney’s party life:

“It’s called being young but there is a boundary. You see all of these horror stories about people that have died of drug overdoses, people that have taken it too far and ruined their lives, and for me, I had so many things that I had yet to accomplish.”

On Britney’s VMA performance at the VMA after spending the night partying with P Diddy:

“Everyone has their own ways of choosing what’s best for them.”
“I have no problem with telling someone, ‘Hey, I have to do a show tomorrow – you can relate to this as an artist, I want to do a good job and be on my game’.”
“Sometimes I wish I could go out to a party or a club and just be able to be free, but there’s a consequence with the temptation.”
