After a delay, Mischa Barton’s summer movie Homecoming, where she played an obsessed ex-girlfriend, is finally coming to DVD.
According to Dread Central, Homecoming will be released on DVD on March 23 in Canada and on April 27 in the U.S.
The Morgan J. Freeman movie only had a limited theatrical run, so besides what you can find on YouTube, not many people have seen this movie.

Mischa Barton’s sudden hospitalization Wednesday has let to a lot of rumors, and right now it’s kinda hard to figure out what is true and what is just a rumor.
The “big rumor” is that the one from Access Hollywood, which has reported that Barton is at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles under “involuntary psychiatric hold” also called 5150 by the LAPD. Mischa Barton to miss Homecoming premiere due to illness
Mischa Barton will miss the premiere of her new indie movie Homecoming tonight due to illness, according to People magazine.
On Wednesday, Barton made a medical call to the Los Angeles police and was taken to an undisclosed location. According to several sources, she is dealing with pain caused by her recent oral surgery.
“We assisted her with a medical issue and removed her from her home,” LAPD Officer April Harding confirmed to People.

Homecoming, the thriller starring Mischa Barton, Jessica Stroup and Matt Long, is set to be released in limited theaters on July 17. The movie will be shown in Los Angeles, New York and Lousville, Kentucky. Now a few more release dates have been added: Denver, Colorado on July 24; and Madison, Wisconsin on Aug. 14. According to fangoriaonline.com, Mischa Barton’s psycho thriller movie Homecoming also starring 90210′s Jessica Stroup and Matt Long will have a limited release by Paper Street Films on July 17 in LA and New York. Hopefully if it does well, the release will be expanded.
