Mischa Barton rep says she is improving
Mischa Barton’s publicist Craig Schneider said Mischa “continues to improve but is still undergoing treatment,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
Barton was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold (5150) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after a non-emergency call to the LAPD last Wednesday. A source says Barton has left the medical center, according to People.com
Schneider also said Barton hopes to return to work later this month when The CW’s The Beautiful Life begins production.

Mischa Barton to play bitchy model role on new show
Mischa Barton told PEOPLE magazine she will be playing a “bitchy” model on The CW pilot A Beautiful Life produced by Ashton Kutcher.

I’m excited to report Mischa Barton has bypassed Melrose Place on The CW for another show coming soon to the network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Mischa, 23, will play Sonya, a veteran supermodel who is determine to stay at the top on A Beautiful Life, which follows a group of young models living in a co-ed residence in New York City.
The one-hour drama pilot set in the world of high fashion is produced by Ashton-Kutcher.
