Last night Poprally presented an intriguing evening at the MOMA. They premeired Department of Eagle’s video for their song “No One Does It Like You,” which was created by artist Marcel Dzama and directed by Patrick Daughters. The two came up with a very interesting concept for the video involving civil war fighters and ninja ballerinas based on Dzama’s drawings. It came out beautifully. Grizzly Bear side-project Department of Eagles, who are awesome in their own right, are doing a great event at MOMA’s Poprally on March 24. They will premiere their new video for “No One Does It Like You,” by directors Patrick Daughters and Marcel Dzama (two of my favorite artists) who will be on hand for a Q&A session after.
