Wes Anderson’s New Film Moonrise Kingdom Looks Amazing

The last movie we got from Wes Anderson was The Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009. It’s been a long three years to wait for another brilliant film from the writer and director, but that waiting has come to an end.

The trailer for Anderson’s newest (and 8th) film, Moonrise Kingdom just came out and looks fantastic. As with most of Anderson’s films this one also stars Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman, as well as some added new faces to his usual line-up of actors. Yes, that is Bruce Willis you see in the trailer along with Edward Norton, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swanson.

There’s no official, set in stone date as to when it will be released, so in the time we’ll just have to watch this trailer over and over again.

‘The Switch’ Is An Even Less Appealing Title Than ‘The Baster’

When producers of Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman‘s new move were brainstorming new titles for the film formerly known as The Baster, do you think they automatically went with the most generic one they could think of? Because that’s what it seems like. The trailer for The Switch, the movie’s new title, debuted today, and there are just so many different directions they could’ve gone with the title that would’ve made it sound even a little more appealing. Would you pay $12.50 to see a movie called The Switch if you didn’t already know what it was about or who was in it?

The movie’s about a woman who is accidentally inseminated with her best friend’s sperm (his drunken antics caused a sperm sample mixup), and he has to figure out a way to tell her that her child is actually his. While The Baster was kind of a terrible title because it’s gross and conjures up way too graphic imagery, The Switch is even worse because it gives no clues to what kind of film it is, what genre it is, or really anything about the movie at all. Couldn’t they have come up with a pun to better represent the film’s plot? Or a bit of clever dialogue? What they’ve got now is basically the least imaginative film title ever.

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Teaser Trailer

Summit Entertainment released a new 10-second teaser for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse today (that’s your cue to squeal with delight). It features Edward and Bella standing in a pretty field together, Edward and Bella laying in bed together, and a sweeping shot of Taylor “Shirtless” Lautner standing on a mountain. The full trailer will be released Friday morning, and we’re pretty sure it’ll focus on the whole Edward versus Jacob debate. Also: Kristen Stewart‘s weave (covering up her Joan Jett hair) looks kinda busted. Discuss.

“Homecoming” Trailer – Version 2

Voltage Pictures has prepared a second teaser trailer for Homecoming, the thriller starring Mischa Barton. This is the second teaser trailer, though not yet the final official trailer. It is nearly identical to the first trailer, but with a few differences. Notable differences will be seen in the final flash through of images.

Homecoming is a "college-aged" interpretation of Misery that shows a more crazy side of Mischa Barton. When her high school boyfriend comes back to town with his new college gilrfriend, Mischa Barton’s character (Shelby) is obsessed with getting him back. So, when she accidentally hits the girlfriend, a hostage situation takes on all sorts of dark opportunities for her. The movie was directed by Morgan J. Freeman.
